The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable as a woman it is easy to get taken advantage of I am so happy I listened to my friend and stoped here to have my car inspected. I had went to another shop in alpena and got an estimate. Justin inspected my car and I only needed half of what the other shop told me I needed he even showed me what I needed it was nice to not be treated like I didn’t know anything and believe me I know nothing about cars now I actually know something. Nathan and Eric are nothing short of top notch. They always go above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of and I know they do the same for others. They have done work on my personal truck including a trans and it shifts awesome. They also did some work for my boss and even though there supplier screwed up and it was not on them, they went above and beyond to make sure our truck was ready to get some jeeps out to Moab. Not to be confused with another business by a similar name in New York, this Great Lakes Diesel is a stellar company and has a good reputation in the Cleveland area for repairs and sales.
