I came to this mechanic with a problem with my tailshaft (it was making noises whenever I took it above 2000 rpm). He diagnosed it as a transfer case problem and charged me $1000 for an after-market transfer case plus an extra $700 for a labor. After replacing the transfer case, he told me that I also need a new bearing which is gonna cost me another $700. $2400 in total.
I went for a second opinion and I learned that very likely the bearing was the only thing that needed fixing. I wanted get my old transfer case back from AQ, but I've been told I need to pay for it.
Summing up, I can't recommend the service here. The mechanic is very friendly as a person though.

I took my car to this shop to be repaired. It was making strange noises and I wasn't sure what the problem was. Jake was able to get my car in the next day and called me a couple hours later to let me know what the problem was, how much it would cost and how long the repairs would take. He got my car back to me by the end of the week and I haven't had any problems with the car since.
