Beauty Salon

I have been going to Tawsha at Jigsaw for 7 years now (but have also seen most of the other stylists at Jigsaw). She has given me a pixie, taken me from natural blonde to chestnut and back again, and is now a magician with me growing out a pixie. The salon itself is super welcoming and warm. Love this place!

Christena here is awesome. She has done my hair amazingly and she is quite reasonably priced. The salon itself isn't that great and it's mostly little old ladies getting perms. Don't be alarmed though. Christena definitely knows what she's doing, and everyone I know who has seen her has been very satisfied! (I pay ~$40/cut, ~$120/cut, colour with foils)

I saw Esra, a beautiful and relaxed stylist experienced with curly hair. I bioked the appointment 1.5 hours ahead of time on a busy Saturday and witnessed walk ins get served right away to 10 mins which is crazy. I was late and they didn't even seem to stress and I felt so bad. Mostly, I was in dire need of the cut for a while, with long curly outgrown hair, split ends; I had been putting it up everyday for work and not able to let it down. We cut it down significantly into a chic bob. It was the quickest easiest haircut I have ever had, but also exactly what I wanted. I didn't say I wanted asymmetrical for the length, but thats because in the past the pros have said it wouldnt work for me. They were wrong and I have wanted to experiment for ages. She thinned the bottom layer so it can grow out without being so heavy, and the layers are perfect. Most of all she was nice, chatty because I was and not pushy with product, definitely going to go back. The front of house gents were very nice as well!

Got a hair cut by the barber Jason H. He was professional, friendly and the cut came out exactly how I wanted.

Chloe did my hair today and it was beautiful! I got pretty much exactly what I wanted. The hand massage was very nice too. However for $200 it should include a trim, and getting your hair curled shouldn't cost $25 for the 10 minutes it took her.

The barber is a interesting and funny guy.

I am 8 hours away from Edmonton but happened to be there on business and my hotel was across the street. I took a chance and went in for a haicut knowing nothing about this salon. Patricia was my stylist. She was great. She gave me a great cut, told me and showed me how to do my own hair and gave me some samples. I asked her to thin my long hair out a bit because I get alot of neck pain and headaches. My hair adds to this if it is a longer style. She thinned it very professionally so it looked and felt great. I haven't had a head ache for 2 months. I will be to Edmonton 4 times this year on business and plan to book in for a haircut with Patricia every time. Thanks for the great experience. -

Susan has been cutting my hair for a lot of years. She was cutting it long before it turned all grey. I wouldn't have it any other way.

From the moment I walked into mudHoney I knew I had made a poor decision buying a Groupon here. It took about 10 minutes standing at the front desk before either of the workers even acknowledged me. During that 10 minutes I was frantically searching to see if I could cancel my purchase but wasn't able to. Since I paid close to $100, I decided to stick it out. The stylist rushed the whole process, particularly the colouring. Fortunately for me I spent less time smelling the stylist's cigarette smoke combination cologne scent and there wasn't any major damage done as my colour barely changed. I also asked for a very, very short trim (which I had to clarify that an inch is not a short trim for a girl with curly hair) which was mediocre at best. Overall, unprofessional service and mucho price for a colour I could have done at home in a clean space. I would never return and/or recommend this place to anyone.
