Not sure why the top says "Dude McDudson"... my name is David Capra. My wife and I hired Powerplay Pools in the summer of 2015 to install a pool at our new house, along with a stamped concrete deck and fencing around the pool and around the yard. Our experience was exceptional. The design team spent a lot of time working with us to identify our needs. We never felt pressured to make decisions or to opt for bigger and more expensive items. For sure, there were different options laid out for us, but we never felt pressured to buy it. For example, we had talked about putting "bullnosing" (I think that's what it is called) around the edge of the pool. They showed us lots of pictures of what it would look like... and, of course, it would look good. However, the additional cost just wasn't in our budget. No problem... never once did anybody try to pressure us to install it, anyways. We got what we wanted and asked for. One of the next things was to design the concrete deck. Again, the designers spent a lot of time with us doing up drawings scale to our property so we could see what it would look like. My wife is a very visual person, so I know she really appreciated this. She asked the designer (for both the pool and the deck) for lots of different options to look at... then she even made more modifications to those various drawings. This was done for us without question and without pressure. I remember the crew came in and had completely laid out the entire frame for the deck, and had laid out all of the rebar. It was basically ready for the concrete pour. My wife looked down from the upstairs window and decided she wanted more changes. I remember thinking 'no way... it has got to be far to late to make changes now." Nevertheless, she approached the designer, who was on-site, and asked whether she could make more changes. The answer, "no problem, we'll do that for you." And it was. Everything was well documented, so we always knew where we stood and what our obligations were, and more importantly we always knew what we were going to get. Since that time, we have used Powerplay for our pool opening/closing and maintenance. The work has been great. Whether at the store or with the on-site maintenance guy, everybody has always been very keen to answer questions and help. 2016 was our first full summer with the pool... and it was spectactular!
