Camp

If you are visiting Ontario and have a couple of kayaks . . . . . this is a super pleasant little lake. It you go to the far end, there is a winding little river/stream that goes way up into the Canada countryside. Totally worth the stop. Make sure to swing around to the campground and pay the minimal fee to use the lake.

Great park - nice and clean - The Owners, Steph & Denis are very friendly and welcoming - fantastic people with a great attitude, very warm & welcoming - they understand campers and what they want!! We camped there just for the weekend and were invited to take part in the pot luck lunch even though we weren't seasonal campers! The park is close to everything - water, hiking trails, shopping, etc - Can't say enough about our experience here - will definitely be back!!

Nice quiet place. Very close to Wassaga Beach and Blue Mountain for the motorcycle enthusiasts. Excellent time spent there.

Gift shop is pretty good with lots of great items, and the owners are very friendly.

Went on my birthday weekend in Oct and the Park was in full bloom with fall colors. Had a great time, we got the Hyrule cabin right by the water. Fantastic view, the cabin is very clean with comfy bed , basic utensils and Bongo took care of a few things that needed looking into promptly upon our request, we made good use of the charcoal BBQ , carried firewood for a campfire and were lucky to see the harvest moon rising over the lake just as we settled by the fire. Highly recommended for a rustic experience and great location outside the East gate at Algonquin Park.

Winter staff was adequate. Not sure about summer camps

This is a clean, friendly and scenic campground. The staff were all amazing and so accommodating. Lots of family friendly activities - we especially enjoyed the canoeing and hiking. There is onsite dining with daily specials, pizza, wings (which are the tastiest we've ever had), kids menu and a wide selection of Kawartha Dairy ice cream. We stayed in a waterfront cottage and enjoyed incredible water views all weekend. There were also trailer sites and campsites there as well, and the sites looked well taken care of and spacious. Pine Grove Point is close to Maynooth, where there is a small Farmers Market on Saturdays and some lovely antique shops and a cute cafe. It was the perfect weekend getaway and have already booked our next trip there later in the summer!

Very nice people and nice park. Pond is small though and trout are quite hard to catch
