We had a group of 4 fishing at Camp Narrows Lodge last June, 2014. This was just before the real big rains hit. We had the time of our life. It was some of the best fishing we have had in Canada. We would limit out each day, and catch some larger fish for both Northern and Walleye. Tom took real good care of us and made sure all of our needs were met. It is a bit of a boat ride across Rainy Lake to get to Camp Narrows, but it is well worth it. I would recommend staying at Camp Narrows for both young and old alike. Happy Fishing. marv, Osceola, IA

WOW! This is THE place to go with your family for the Canadian fishing trip you always dreamed about. Really. I've fished year round for over 40 years, so I've put in a lot of time on the water and this camp is right on target for real fishermen and their families. Cabins are super clean, meals are fantastic, and the owners Carol and Perry treat you like you are family. We've been there 4 times and each trip is better. they have improvements to the camp each year; it is their home too. This isn't a stuck up "lodge for the rich" but it's not some "bargain-basement" place either. Cabins are simple, but CLEAN. The meals are all home-made. Hot lunches at camp or they will pack your lunch or even give you all the supplies to make your own shore lunch. If you need a guide, they have friendly guys who can put you on the fish. I have been coming to Gold Mine Resort for over 50 years. My first memories of the camp was a road that was almost impossible to drive on with cabins that were very basic with outdoor bathrooms and a common shower area. What was then and is now is GREAT FISHING! The current owners have greatly improved The road and the cabins. While still basic the cabins have a bathroom with showers and complete kitchen. Our family now includes 4th generation fishers who although in their teens are talking of bringing their kids. A great place to come - disconnect with technology and enjoy a week of GREAT FISHING. (We limited out 3 days on fishing)

They call it Bluewater for a reason. Lake is beautiful and camp has much to offer.
