Exceptional campsite Our first year ( of many we expect ) at Burnt hills Resort was amazing.. Pat and Anesa go out of their way to make you feel welcome . The campground has a friendly culture and we immediately felt at home. The sites are large, clean and well kept. There are several spots open for short term camping, that are clean with easy access. The site has 2 sets of washrooms, showers and even laundry facilities. The lake is a very short walk and is connected to the Rideau Lake system so unlimited space to boat . Lakefront has a sandy area for kids to play complete with boat launch site. We Highly recommend !

This campground is great for a day trip or to stay 3 or 4 nights. The perks are a nice beach and easy to launch kayaks on and not ever too busy. There is one trail that is maintained nicely for a short hike. The downfall of this park is that it is right on Highway 7 so traffic can be heard. Park is clean and well kept. Not ideal for biking but nearby roads give ample opportunity for this.

Great place!!!

My mind is still in Sharbot Lake. Star-gazing by the lake, hearing the sounds of nature at 3 am, watching shooting stars and sattelites, bonfire and laughter and more. Can't contain the raw scenic beauty in a few words.

Awesome Lake. Well run. Clean furnished cottages. Fun, family-friendly. Great fishing,swimming. Boat launch on-site.

completely blown away by the natural beauty of this site! staff are amazing, would recommed for anyone who wants to experience the canadian wilderness in a comfortable, friendly setting!

Loved the food and service was great

Just returned from a pleasant family camping trip. Stayed on site 98 which is great close proximity to the only running water comfort station in the whole park and a short walk to the second beach (which, in our opinion, is the better one). Site was smallish but held our SUV and large 8 person tent while not feeling claustrophobic. Our only complaint, though no part the parks fault but something other incoming guests might want to know, is the hwy being so close to a lot of sites. All night the sounds of big rig trucks and cars rushing along the highway made it feel a lot less peaceful. Weekend nights seemed quieter but otherwise I'd recommend staying away from the highway sites if you need a peaceful and quiet night sleep. But, absolutely we will return.

Upkeep is not a big concern for them
