Great camp for kids

What a phenomenal place for a family reunion!! We stayed in the bluebird cottages - beautiful, clean and perfect size for a family. Food was fabulous, there are many activities to keep kids of all ages (and adults) entertained, and staff is very friendly. Would love to come back!

Best Experience of my life, seriously. This camp was amazing all around and it helped me to become a better person. Staff we're beautiful people inside and out as well as the counsellors. Camp Encounter was brilliant.

Great place for families and they have full hook ups with pull through parking which is nice. They are in the center of town so you have access to the lake or farmers markets Also it is dated and secure

Wonderful facilities for kids summer camps. This is our daughters 2nd year going she loves it every time

Mostly have a great time here! Our last visit was great until our last night. The 'men' who had just finished their 4 day shifts in the mine, let loose. With a real drum set! (Might not have been as bad if he could have actually played😉😉.) Once 11 o'clock hit he did shut it down...but then they stood outside the trailer next door talking. Loudly! But all in all...we would go back! Great Campground. Maybe save the higher amp plugs for traveler's. The workers may be more considerate of fellow neighbors...👍👍👍

This is a first come first serve camp ground. I’ve never had a problem getting a spot in the tent only loop. Some sites offer more privacy than others, but each site is appropriately spaced from the next one. The site staff are very friendly. Great walking trails nearby.

Exactly what we were looking for! A place to relax and forget about the daily grind and yet so close to the city!

Beautiful Park. Great signage. Wish there was less smoke in this beautiful area. Cannot complain. We could all be evacuated!!!!!

Great camp ground spacious sites but some can be a bit tricky to get into for anything 30 feet or bigger.

Great park to go to. Nice field area and good beach area. So you have the best of both worlds there. It can get really busy though so come early. Parking can get full but you can park off the side of the road.
