Best summer camp for kids

I feel comfortable knowing my dog is in the care of Camp Bow Wow! Love that I can watch her wherever I am.

I had the best time at STB this week! The counsellors were great were always willing to help me with anything I need and the activities we did were so much fun. The best part of the week was definitely the mudpit and campfire! I made so many friends in my cabin and I can't wait to go back next year to this amazing camp! What a fantastic place!

Great workout. HIIT high intensity interval training. New equipment, thoughtful exercise routines, good motivation, respectful and fun. Place for changing shoes to krill exercise mats cleaner. Free 3 workouts. Check this place out.

Great place! Great people great pool and Sauna! Too bad water slides are out of service. Would be great for the kids

The BEST place on earth

Bear Creek has been such an amazing experience for our 10 year old, Jason, this past summer. He took part in the one-week Junior Adventure camp. I was a little concerned that he would get homesick, as he had never been away from home for that long, but when I went to pick him up he insisted he could have stayed for another week. He told us all about his experiences for two straight days! He was especially proud of the camp-out night, which created a self-sufficiency and self-confidence in him I didn't know he had. Jill and councillors were just terrific and helped all the kids to feel at ease while trying new things. Jason can't wait to go back next summer!

Went there for a family function/re-union in Nov' 2017. Rainy cold day outside, but inside was great. Nice clean kitchen, plenty of tables, chairs and the large wood fireplace was great too. Awesome people to work with. Very reasonable price. It was the perfect setting for our event.

Clean, nice buildings. Not too far from the city. Great scenery.

We tented there for one night to do a drop off and pick up of my children for Camp Manitou. A lovely little spot. Everyone was friendly. Had wished we had planned to stay longer!! Might rent a cabin next year!! Or tent again.

Manitou is one of my favourite places ever. The family camps are the best way to enjoy an easy-going vacation for those who love camping, but hate tents. The cabins are essentially just four walls, a door, and four bunk beds but you'll be spending most of your time outside anyway! Meals are provided and always delicious (and there's always coffee in the morning!). Note that the point on Google Maps is NOT the actual camp, but where you catch the boat that will bring you to the camp that's west down the channel. The camp is inaccessible by car.
