Cosmetic/Plastic Surgery

When it came time to make decisions regarding my breast reconstruction options, I made appointments with multiple Austin plastic surgeons. I figured I'd connect with one of them, and I'd know the one who was perfect for me. The last surgeon I saw was none other than Dr. Potter. Immediately, I was struck by her friendliness. I was freaked out already, so her easy manner was calming and reassuring. We clicked, and I knew that I was in good hands. We talked a while, she offered some information and ideas, and she didn't pressure me into anything. I left her office feeling good about my breast reconstruction options and I called to schedule the next step with her. I can't say enough about her. She is an artist. A genius in the OR. A professional in every sense of the word. My husband couldn't be with me during my first reconstruction procedure, and he really felt bad about it, but I told him not to worry. "I've got this," I said. "I don't need you waiting in the lobby if I've got Dr. Potter in the OR with me." For the first time EVER, I did not have "worse case scenario" thoughts or a dark cloud hanging over me before a breast cancer surgery. Many of my friends in the cancer community have seen her also, and everyone I know raves about her - because she simply is the best. She was the silver lining of my cancer experience, and because I respect her so much, I now do much of the writing for her practice. If there's anything that ever needs "fixing" again, she's definitely my choice.

I had a lump growing out of the center of my forehead. The more it grew the more I would catch people staring at my forehead instead of looking into my eyes during conversations. I went to my primary doctor who described it as a Lypoma, a fatty tissue that can easily be moved around but is usually benign. However, he declined to do anything do to the fact the area where it was located is full of nerves which control facial expressions like smiles and frowns. He suggested a plastic surgeon. Now I've work my whole life in engineering where you learn all you can about a problem before you try to devise a solution. So I began my research. I found that the only sure way to get rid of one of these fatty tumors is to surgically remove it. There are other procedures but their success rate is far below surgery. So now to find a good doctor. My thoughts were that this was going to be costly as insurance won't cover most cosmetic surgeries. That didn't matter as the bump grew every time I looked in the mirror. I made several calls but finally decided to try Dr. Maggi to see if he would take me as a patient. Dr. Maggi has a great reputation and after looking at is credentials and his website, I thought he may find some time for me. I set up an appointment and when we met I was immediately glad I had picked him. He was very through in his evaluation and what needed to be done. He also knew the intricacies of keeping the nerves intact to preserve facial expressions. He worries about how you feel. He answers questions you have and he asked questions that allow him to understand your needs. He documents everything in notes and photography. To me, he seemed like another engineer working on a solution. When I asked him the cost, I was very pleasantly surprised at his figure. It was far below what I thought it might be. As expected the operation was successful and I can still raise my eyebrows and frown. After the operation I was asked to return on two more occasions to insure the scare had been minimized and that everything was healing normally. Today, people have stopped staring at my forehead and you cannot find a mark where he made his incision. I am very pleased with his work and highly recommend him

Loved Dr. Bekainch! She explained the whole procedure and listened to what I wanted. Answered all my questions and explained the different type of procedures to best fit me. Made me feel comfortable the entire way. Staff was easy to talk to and friendly! Recommend her to anyone looking for any moomy makeover! Loved my results boosted my confidence! Love love her!

Dr. Driscoll is a great doctor, he really cares about his patients. I was really scared about getting plastic surgery, but Dr Driscoll assured me that i will be fine. And he was right, he did an amazing job on my body. The day of surgery my husband and friend was there to support me and dr Driscoll aloud them both to be apart of every step. The after care was also great. Dr Driscoll allowed my husband to call him if he had any concerns or questions. Dr Driscoll also called and checked on me to make sure i was doing well. I highly recommend Dr Driscoll for plastic surgery. Hes kind, patient, understanding and he is a great listener. He dont put pressure on you or force you to get something you dnt need. Hes really awesome.

My experience at New Leaf Plastic surgery was phenomenal ! I certainly give Dr. Lovelace 5 ☆, I've had chemical peels which always make my skin look great and for the first time I finally got botox ! 😊 I love not seeing anymore wrinkles when I smile ! Dr. Lovelace is very smart, knowledgeable, and trustworthy I've always thought about having cosmetic surgery and most definitely she will be the one I choose !

I chose Dr Anderson mainly due to the wonderful compliments given to me by friends and patients who have gone to him. Both of his offices are very nice I'm partial to he horse motif of his Weatherford office since I'm a cowgirl. His office staff is all over the top beautys which overwhelmed me at first. I was going in for removal of implants , pain in neck shoulder and back. He was very professional and answers all my questions. I felt he gave me all the time I needed. I guess I'm saying he did not rush me thru. Day of surgery went well, Post op no problem. Had several sutures I seem to find for weeks after surgery, he feel put you together to stay. 8 mo out I'm pretty happy with the results.He is going to fix a dog ear in suture and we will be done. An absolute amazing surgeon! We have been with him since before my son was even born (when i first found out he had a cleft lip) he is now 14 and is going to be having his final surgery with him in the next few months. I would not go to anywhere else for my sons care. Him and his entire staff are so incredibly caring and you can tell he truly loves what he does.
