I was provided tools for my own recovery, different than those given to my husband for his addiction. Once we were both committed to our individual recovery programs, Gerry then provided us with real and proven methods for restoring our marriage. We went to Gerry as two broken people with a seemingly irreparable marriage. Thanks to his guidance, my husband has received freedom from his addiction, my wounds have been healed, and our marriage completely and wonderfully transformed. My husband and I attended the 3 day Family Program and a Sunday Family breakfast which were both valuable and informative. My husband and I went to Janet for relationship counselling. After a few sessions she asked if my husband wanted to come by himself and told me I could see someone else if I wanted individual help. During her individual session with my husband they discussed mental disorders that they thought I had but in our next sessions together she never mentioned these to me. I went to see my doctor and told her about these potential problems and I definitely do not have any of them. It seems that Janet wanted to cause more problems for us than to help us.
