Countertop Fabricators

I checked out all the stone shops in the region, going to all 3 Stonex locations as well as Granitework, Natural Stone City, KW Countertops and even MSI in Mississauga. I found that Stonex had the best variety and selection and we found our gorgeous leathered Titanium at their Woodstock showroom after seeing it in the Cambridge location. The slabs in Cambridge were already sold and they suggested we look at the selection in Woodstock. The people in the Cambridge location were very friendly and knowledgeable. The people in the Woodstock location were very helpful and even moved a couple of slabs so we could see them side-by-side. We took a floor tile and cabinet door with us to see with the granite which made a huge difference in the final choice. The designers took the slabs we chose and did an excellent job laying out the cuts for the installation. The layout made the most of the patterns in the stone. Nearly 2y later and I still love my counter tops and find myself looking closely at the textures and patterns almost every day. Plus, the leathered granite doesn't show the dust, crumbs, or streaks like other surfaces.

I used ACMF to make a custom countertop for my kitchen island. Gene was great to deal with. It was much more affordable then the big box stores and was ready when promised. I couldn't be more pleased!

Got estimate from John fairly quick but after that it was all promises and no work didn't even begin. Had to go to another place to get my railings done.

Thank you very much Di Pietra Design for not only a beautiful countertop but great service. Lindsey, Jeremy and the entire team guided my wife and I to make the right choice for our home. The installation team came in protected my floors, wall oven and other items during the installation. They finished the installation and after they left I forgot to have a hole drilled for cold water drinking tap. I called Laurie and with no hesitation had them back the same day, great service! Ordered a custom countertop which was much longer than a standard length so required a small extension piece added to one end. The pattern was not matched and is visually not acceptable. Paid close to $1,000 for this countertop and owner was not willing to discount the price in any way - offered to "try" and get a new piece to see if it would be a better match, but no guarantees. Had they turned the piece around that they did use, it would have been a much better match. They are in the business of this stuff and should have paid better attention to detail. Will not recommend, will not be returning. When asked if it would be acceptable in his home / dining area - he said "unlikely".

Reasonable prices but among the worst customer service experiences we have ever had. Also, measured and then left a space between counter and wall at one end. Still chasing them 5 months later for a correction. Don't respond to calls.

The initial phase of our kitchen counter installations was amazing. However, the follow up has been below sub standard. We have repeatedly tried to follow up to have some issues addressed. Either our calls have not been returned or when we have gone in person to request a in person follow up (which we would gladly pay for any repairs) with the promise of a visit nothing has occurred and without explanation. This type of customer service for such an expensive purchase and service is totally unacceptable. We have tried many time to connect and since all our attempts have failed I have no other means of expressing our concerns than by this post. I certainly hope no other customer is dealt with in this fashion as we have been dealt with.

Wow, what a mean, angry man to do business with. The owner mentioned in passing when I was at the gallery that he had been divorced...can see why!! Tried purchasing 2 different slabs at 2 different times and after my heart was set on each, they then said sorry-sold.(was sold before I even saw them). They just let the sold ones sit mixed in with all the other inventory. I asked him why they don't just put sold signs on them when they are no longer available and he told me to start my own gallery and run it the way I want......wow! WOW! Highly recommend that you dont even walk around and brows at their gallery because after narrowing down and picking one out, you can see what it's like to be extremely disappointed. (And then deal with the unstable owner). I really am speechless. Can't believe I was talked to like that. Wish I recorded conversation! Didn't see that coming! I should have been the sharp, angry and disappointed customer but I wasnt! Just expressed my disappointment with him and he snapped. Everyones allowed to have a bad day but sheesh, that was unneccessary! Again, beware of this place and this owner!!!! Called around and mentioned my issue and they all said they heard many complaints from international stone gallery. Dont believe me? Call around before you go to them and you'll see! Glad I never purchased anything. Could see what would happen if there were issues down the road. Ended up as a blessing!

They are true craftsmen and I highly recommend them for any custom granite, marble or quartz countertops.

My wife and I had 3 counter-tops business to visit in Barrie for our kitchen. After meeting with Greg at Northern Granite Works, we decided we didn't need to shop any further. It was a pleasure dealing with him and he gave us great advice for our counter-tops. Once we decided to go ahead with NGW, one of his employee came to our house a mapped the whole kitchen with a laser measuring tool hooked up to a tablet. We decided on where the joints would be since the counter-top was going to be larger than a slab. We also picked a beautiful sink from Bristol, which is made in Ontario. 12 days later, NGW delivered and installed the counter-tops. Their two men crew came and laid protective sheets on our floors, added support strips to the top of our cabinets and installed the counter-tops. They had a special vacuum machine to joint the pieces together and the installer mixed epoxy to match the counter-top color. It turned out great. Before leaving they vacuumed the drawers and cabinets and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with our Quartz counter-tops from NGW and will probably be contacting them again to do our bathrooms vanities. Thanks Greg.
