I have had my granite for a couple of years now and it is still in very great condition!! When it was being installed the staff were very efficient. Going to pick the type of granite I wanted was easier than I would have thought, the kind staff gave me great information to make my important choice easy and interesting.

I know my husband already left a review but I also wanted to leave one because of how impressed I am with the work that we had done. Nicolas was so personable and kind when he came out to measure and I can say the same about Jeremy and Curtis ( I hope I spelled that right). They were so quick during their install, so friendly, left no mess and were so polite. I will for sure be recommending your company to anyone that I know looking for counter tops. Thank you so much!!

Warning...please avoid this company at all cost. We hired them to install our countertops and island and they tore up our brand new kitchen. They state in their contract that there might be some damage to walls however what happened to our walls was far beyond what we imagined. When we addressed this with their team they let us know they would assess when they came out to install island. Once they assessed they agreed the damage was extensive and offered us $150 which was far less than the $600 labor quote we received to remove and reinstall our drywall. When we asked them to split the difference, they told us that we were attempting to scheme the company and they would put a lien against our home. When I attempted to follow up reasonably the owner yelled at me for 10 minutes and ended the conversation that she would rather pay the $50 to put a lien on our house than work with us on the repairs. Unfortunately it looks like we will see them in court but for all of you please find another company.

We recently had new countertops from Masterpiece Granite installed in our home. We had problems with staining and Mo was quick to come from Ottawa to Belleville to address the problems and assured us he would do everything to make sure we were 100% happy. We tried a few things to remove the stains unsuccessfully. Being a man of his word Mo got together with the installer and replaced all the counter tops which look absolutely beautiful at no cost to us. It was a pleasure to deal with such an honest and caring company and staff. We would highly recommend Masterpiece Granite & Marble to anyone looking for an excellent product and outstanding service. We truely appreciate all they did for us. John & Pat

I am a returning customer and given my last experience will never return to The Granite Shop. I agree with the other reviews in that the material and service with Joe is excellent. However, regardless of how nice the material is if the company cannot properly template, cut and install that material it’s worthless. My husband and I paid for a quartz countertop with a waterfall using a mitre cut. When the countertop was templated the gentleman asked us to install a piece of cabinet at the end of the sink where the waterfall would be installed. I was advised this would give the waterfall piece more stability. The gentleman then markedly his template to show the additional piece. Following the template, Joe, asked me to write an email confirming that the additional live eWorld be installed prior to the counter installation which I did. When the countertop was installed the sink piece was cut too short to allow the waterfall to be installed. The edge of the countertop had also been finished for a butt joint as opposed to having a mitre cut set up for the waterfall. (the mitre cut for the waterfall is what gives it a nice look and was discussed with Joe at the time of purchase). Apparently the template gentleman had set up the template for a butt joint and not a mitre cut which was never discussed with me at the time of templating. All to say the 12ft of countertop had to be replaced and that piece was affixed to the other length of countertop contains my stove top- if both pieces could not be separated the whole kitchen countertop would have to be recut. I emailed the Granite Shop about the recutting. The long and short of it is after 3 weeks the manager wrote me an email blaming me for not having all of my cabinets installed prior to templating and that he was being generous enough for offering to fix the issue. He advised me he would speak with his people and get back to me about my options. Now 4 weeks after the install I haven’t heard anything from the manger and therefore asked for a refund. Initially I was only offered the value for the material and not the taxes. I threatened legal action and I was refunded the value of the material with the tax. We are very disappointed in the Granite Shop and particularly their management. We did not receive what we paid for and then got blamed when the mistake was made by them. Hopefully this experience will enlighten others to chose a better shop.

Very honest people. They could have tried to over sale to us, like other places, but they didn't. They looked at us a people and not dollar signs. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are very sensitive to the needs of people regarding their loved ones headstones. Good clean work and quality work.

Got my countertop refinished by ottawa granite pro and my kitchen has never looked better! Thank you Peter for the great work!

Most unorganized company I’ve worked with. Scatter brained owner who has no idea what’s going on his job sites. Employees show up all times of day or night unannounced with missing or wrong material. Don’t listen to clients requests and try to weasel out afterwards. Many better options out there.
