I was looking for a new dentist in Anchorage when a friend referred me Scott Laudon at Alcan Dental Group, and I’m so thankful she did! The entire visit was smooth, efficient, and overall enjoyable. Dr. Laudon, his assistants and the receptionist all made me feel comfortable and taken care of. The procedure itself was pain-free and finished in no time, and there were no issues down the road (a problem I have ran into with other dentists). I would definitely recommend Alcan Dental for any dental care needs – they are fantastic!

Excellent and friendly support staff: dentists are sincere and genuinely caring, patient and understanding, and even though my kids have had to have some work done (like pulling a tooth that died and accessed after a bike crash) they aren’t scared of the dentist and only have good memories of how kindly they were treated (at the time they were wailing from the pain but that has faded *because* they were treated gently and compassionately). Dr. Rabatin is wonderful.

My expericence has been magnificent since switching over from another practice 2 years ago. I've been thoroughly pleased with the kind courteous family atmosphere presented in the office. Also six month smiles has changed my life! I've gone from a complex case to straight teeth while wearing clear braces the entire time. I'm very pleased with Dr. Triggs and hygienist Paula's provided service and willingness to cater to my dental needs.

They have EXCELLENT staff, an EXCELLENT doctor, and are very careful and precise with their job. This place is top of the line, and you won't find anyone better

Would NOT recommend! Unprofessional and rude behavior from the office manager Brooke and unreasonable charges. Went to another dentist to get a second opinion on some proposed work. And also to have dental work Dr. Hofstad did inspected. The new dentist recommended something completely different. Also said that the work in question would be redone at no charge if they had done it. Dr. Hofstad also charged me $100 for canceling the appointment the day before. Please note, they have a cancellation policy listed on their web site, but it doesn't say anything about a charge or how much. They also delayed sending my x-rays over to the new dentist office. Shady and unprofessional. It's not about customer service with him and his staff. Its all about getting every last penny they can extract from you. I was a loyal customer for more than 4 years and spent lots of money with them and never missed an appointment. Very disappointing!

Dr Triggs is the best. I've gone there many years. He's knowledgeable & funny. I love everyone there, especially my hygienist Paula. Check them out!
