It's a liquor store, you will find good and bad in, out, around, and through the place. Just get your liquor and show ID no problem.

I love this store and I can find whatever I need and the workers are so fun, helping, and love what they do. You get to taste certain wines while shopping for your favorite drinks of gift for someone!!!

I called this store before I went to see if they had a certain wine being that I live about 40 minutes away...the lady checked and sure enough they had it..she told me she would even have it ready for me when I got there...well when I got there not only was it ready n waiting for me, it was such a welcoming feeling walking in to the store...they greet u...friendly people...I wish I knew the lady's name that helped me but either way everyone was so friendly...

Seems like liquor stores are everywhere these days, from the small family owned and operated to the big boys like Spec’s and Total Wine. I really didn’t think Whiskey Charlie’s was going to be anything special, and I couldn’t be happier to be proven wrong!! Great selection, reasonable prices, staff that is just friendly enough without being weird or creepy. I pass two other liquor stores to get to Whiskey Charlie’s. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Great, albeit slightly small stock, and one of the friendliest cashier’s you’ll encounter in all of St. John’s. Great place to stop before heading out to dinner.

The “gentleman” that works here in the evenings (dark hair, glasses) is an absolute menace to society. Whenever I come with my Bangladeshi boyfriend he acts discriminatory towards us and gives us a difficult time. I have never received such poor customer service I would not recommend this NLC.

Very friendly and helpful. This liquor store has Caribbean based liqueurs/rums as well which makes it a go to spot.

It's a nice place for a family-run store. Not a huge selection, but you can find something close to what you're looking for. The guy at the register was pleasant. The aisles are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful shopping here.
