Really good customer service , and an excellent selection of craft beers and other goods!

Super helpful staff as if I ever have a question it’s easy to get it answered. Great selection, including my personal favorite the walk-in humidor. The only drawback to this store is that taxes in this state are insane so I keep my purchases to a minimum. Not their fault, but definitely hurting their business.

The only BC Liquor shop in Metrotown area. Their international section is impressive. They are open till 9pm weekdays .

My experience is, I have been a consumer from the date this store was open. I lived in a house close by when it was called the Coach House. Long term resident of the North Shore. I went in today to get a bottle of wine. The staff allowed a large unleashed Rottweiler into the store. It basically ran around all over including the back of the till area. 2 staff were there, one male and one female personnel. The male was fine with it running around (ok with dogs) but the female was sort of ok but totally into dogs. I, at the time grabbed a bottle of wine and proceeded to the counter to pay. I am allergic to dogs and do not invite them into my space.... The dog went for my crotch and I lifted my knee to block its face like I always do with anyone's dog unleashed and not incontrol. The owner of the dog looked apologetic but the male counter personnel said that's not cool dude!! Kicking a dog. I told him I did not and additionally I don't need a dog in my crotch. I was in work clothes but if I was in nice clothes this would be an issue!!! Cleaning bill!! He then said dogs are allowed in here and are totally ok. I guess unleashed is also ok. He was billigerent to me and we argued about the situation. I did not purchase the wine and left. I have been in North Van my entire life and will NOT shop in this store again.... I will make sure none on my other North Shore friends shop there ever. One of the most unpleasant shopping experiences I have been in. By the way., I can also note the Show wine at other stores are at 21.99 and they have it at 27.99 plus tax. Brutal survice and expensive.

I live in the British Properties, but when I feel like taking out my dad's cheap old Mercedes CLK to go slumming, I always make the trip down to this Toby's Liquor Store between the trainyard and interchange. When I go here I can wear my cheap and easy sweatpants & stained hoodie combo without standing out or being judged, and the staff won't follow me around because all the high quality liquor is locked up! I love the industrial location because none of my more affluent friends would ever see me here, and after I buy a case of PBR, there's plenty of little spots around outside to vibe while I polish it off.

Friendly service and very knowledgeable about the products. Amaretto is great, and the vodka is better than the heavily -marketed brands. The chili vodka comes with a warning... heed it. It's great to make a spicy Caesar. Also tried adding it to a salsa to kick it up a notch - great recommendation.

Awesome staff, good at making recommendations! When I first stepped foot into that De Havilland DHC-8-400 bound for Kamloops, my liver was still processing the final drops of the Grower's that I had downed in the back of my mum's Nissan Cherry on the way to Abbotsford International Airport. I will never forget the kind service of the North Shore Liquor shop for making my traumatic move to the hindquarters of BC an enjoyable experience! xoxo

One of if not the best liquor stores in the GVA. I've driven here all the way from Richmond a few times and have always found more than what I was looking for. Great selection!

Great liquor store. Very good selection of both chilled and non-chilled beverages. Prices are very reasonable even that comparable to the liquor/beer/wine sections at Walmarts in the area. Had difficulty finding some mixer items as it was in a completely different location of the store compared to the other mixers. Also, the one employee that I did see/dealt with lacked enthusiasm for his work in which I find this business requires those who are passionate about the industry. Overall, will come back.

Most of the brands are available with decent pricing. You can also get some empty old bottles recycled here for 0.10$ a bottle.

I arrived right at 11.00 and only wanted a micky. they were still dealing with a customer, so I figured they would let me purchase quickly. but they wouldn't. it was 11 on the dot. not 11.01 or anything. I think they should of still served me. Clearly they locked the door early. NOT COOL!! and NOT FAIR!! :(

This store is good. Staffs are friendly and kind. But I would give 5 stars to the other store on Cambie St.

Eleven out of ten, it was a nice experience. The cashier’s favourite colour is Kokanee blue, and we’re sorry that Walker pestered her she was very nice thank you. Bless up.
