When we bought the panels we told them that we would be needing to replace the roof in a few years and they said no problem it will cost $500 to take them off and replace them. Now that we need it done they said the cost changed to $500 plus $150 per panel. We have 12 panels so now it will cost $2300. That is a big difference. Then they refused to take back the panels which barely save us any money and won't let us out of the contract even though they are the ones who changed the terms. Don't go with this company they were disrespectful on the phone and their customer service is awful.

DRAGOON team was EXCELLENT! Christian, Matt, Josh, Mitch and the entire install TEAM are the BEST! Christian and the TEAM went above and beyond the call of duty and honored my request to not show the silver conduit pipes on my new black roof. They ran a conduit on the side of my home and entered my attic and ran the conduit in my attic, (brilliant)! Now, all you see outside are the black sleek nice looking New Freedom Solar panels, which look awesome. In addition, Mitch also went above and beyond by recognizing my electrical panel was only using 100 amps, when it's full capacity is 200 amps. He troubleshooted and identified the problem, then re-wired the box so now it's operating at full capacity of 200 amps! Thank You! Finally, Matt and the entire install TEAM were excellent, there professionalism, and institutional knowledge came out as clear as the day. ALL worked as a TEAM, each knew exactly what their role was and executed perfectly! Very professional, courteous, polite, and above all the quality of workmanship was outstanding! Horrible customer service, never answers the phone or returns inquirys

I used this service to get a total of 7 rooftop solar install quotes within a few days. It is very convenient and allows you to make an informed decision. My experience is in California where the solar market is quite mature and vibrant so I can only speak to this particular area. The service is free to you, the client, so there really is no risk. I would highly recommend anyone looking into solar to use this service. Searching through contractors is a lot of work and would still leave you trying to compare apples to oranges as quotes can very widely. This service will, to some degree, allow you to compare each quote in a fair manner. If nothing else, this service would at least shield you from all the marketing/sales people trying to sell you on their product. A huge plus for someone who doesn't like talking to people, or maybe doesn't have the time. It also helps that they offer an energy advisor who you can talk to before making your decision. Again, all this is for free (or virtually free, as there probably is a systemic price inflation built-in via the finder's fee that they collect). Solar companies will have to factor in the cost of marketing anyway, so I believe that with or without using this service, the extra cost is baked in to most quotes you will get.
