Best customer service in town

Five days before a long planned vacation the windshield was hit and a large crack formed. No one locally would fix it for weeks. I called over the hill to Round Tree and they made room for me that day. The job was perfect, saved our trip from a lot of stress. Can't thank them enough.

Came out for estimate but wont return phones calls over the last three weeks. He actually did a 3000 SQ foot wood floor job for me five years ago and he did my parents guest house about a year ago. He called me once about a week after he did measurements. He said my job was "too complicated". I have a house in a well known neighborhood with concrete downstairs and plywood/carpet upstairs. Three other flooring companies said there was nothing complicated about the job at all and it was totally standard. He went on to say I should come to his showroom "but you probably won't" ..... Bizarre thing to say to a returning customer. He tends to ramble on and on in person and on the phone repeating the same things over and over too including comments like that. Very unprofessional. I didn't even plan on having anyone else do an estimate. I am a very loyal customer. Clearly he doesn't need the business nor does he care about reviews or his reputation. I guess he is getting old and close to retiring so he doesn't care anymore. Nothing else makes sense to me. Really sad to see people change for the worse like this..

Since I had used Luxor Floors to install carpeting in a Burlingame property, which turned out great, I decided to have them look at a San Francisco property I was remodeling that needed flooring. The day after I called Luxor, Patrick drove to San Francisco to measure the square footage and look at the floors which were really destroyed from construction and 90 years of wear and tear. I wanted to refinish the floors, but when I went into Luxor the owner, Louis, explained that the wood was very thin and could be refinished, but he also showed me beautiful new wood flooring options. Louis' and Patrick's style is completely without pressure and totally honesty, which I really appreciated since this was a big decision and I was already stressed out. I finally decided it was best to put in new Reward flooring (a local manufacturer). The installers came to the house, dropped off the new hardwood flooring to acclimate for a few days, demolished the old floors, repaired the subfloor extensively, and when I asked them to install the flooring in a diagonal pattern they agreed without any problem. In fact they were very nice during the whole installation which went into the night. There were only a few left-over pieces, so the measuring was perfect and no money was wasted. It's all finished now and I'm extremely happy with the whole entire process of working with Luxor Floors, including the sales team, extensive flooring options, installation, and reasonable pricing. I wouldn't go anywhere else for flooring or carpeting. They have some very high-end carpeting options as well that are fun to look at when you go to the store. In the end you will end up with great new flooring or carpeting. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Flooring problem solved! Thanks Luxor Floors.
