Flooring

Excellent service. FRED LAYE thank you for working with my son to install my beautiful carpet and flooring throughout my house while I was in hospital and rehab for 6 weeks. It was so nice to come home, open the door and see everything installed. I love it. Fred LAYE, you went over and beyond customer service to make this happen. I will recommend MCSWAIN CARPET and ( FRED LAYE ) to family and friends. THANK YOU, BARBARA, CINCINNATI OHIO.

Good location good price

Even though the store closed at 9pm, the clerk locked the doors at 8:54 and refused to let me in to make a simple purchase. I called them prior to arrival and spoke with the clerk to put the item aside because I was traveling a long distance to reach that store. Total neglect of customer service. I've been here many times before and never had a problem with the staff and they seemed to be friendly.

I just love this place. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The products and services are wonderful. I especially love the greetings from the company's pets. I do recommend this to everyone who is looking to improve the look of your flooring.

Very helpful.

Newbie at tiling and wanted to use the Schluter Ditra system to tile a small mudroom/laundry room. Amce had all the products I needed, a huge selection of tile, and friendly, knowledgeable staff who spent lots of time answering questions. Left with tile, supplies, and confidence to do the project.

They have a mediocre selection of mostly discount tile. We found one we kind of liked, but when we went to the store today to pick up the sample we had ordered, we could not get the woman working there to wait on us. She never spoke to us when we entered, spending close to 30 minutes working with some woman who kept complaining about her budget. Two other couples left. Then she skipped past us and moved to a woman who had come in a good 20 minutes after we had. When I complained that it was our turn, the sales lady was rude. I ordered tile samples from Amazon while I sat there, and then left. Took less than 2 minutes to find and order the samples from Amazon. Turns out Amazon has a huge selection of tile, and the one we ordered is about a third cheaper than this place anyway. Given that I need almost 200 square feet of tile, I'll probably save some money shopping at Amazon. Either way, Amazon has a much larger selection and you don't get ignored.

Job of a business looked around found tile I liked and finally some one acknowledged me I asked for a quote. Before I could tell them how much tile I need the sales man said we don't sale to the public and was rude I need about 20 boxes of tile!

I want to give Brian(in the Lumber area) at the Americus Lowes a 5 star review. He was professional and very helpful. He is an asset to you guys. Thanks, Michael

I bought a refrigerator here on Friday and it was scheduled for delivery on Sunday. I received a call on Saturday to set delivery time for Sunday. Sunday came and went with no delivery and no call to let me know it would not be delivered. On Monday Lowes called my dad. Why??? They asked for my phone number 3 times during the purchase and I used my Lowes card which has my current phone number associated with it. I called them back and rescheduled for Tuesday. Guess what.... still no delivery and no phone call. I went back to the store and asked for a refund. They never apologized or tried to tried to work it out, just gave me a refund and off I went. I wish I had read the other reviews before wasting my time with Lowes. Guess they really don't want my business. Home Depot, here I come!
