Flooring

I went into this shop not expecting much and was more than surprised. This shop has a ton of options and extremely helpful service (as well as reasonable prices). They saved my tush when accent tile for the shower that was special-ordered from another shop fell through...twice. They later patiently assisted me try out eight zillion options for tile for a fireplace hearth, introduced me to schluter edges, and didn't mind when I didn't buy but later came back to get tile galore. Here is a picture of the finished fireplace. The facing tile came from here (it is stacked rock), as well as the tile on the hearth. I'll try to post a photo of the shower later.

Awesome experience. Can't wait for my new carpet.

Ordered flooring... took over 3 weeks and phone calls to corporate to resolve and get delivered.

I should have written this long ago. Amazing price for the rug I was looking for. Carry the best brands!

Please beware of this operation! I have been to BDC many times over the years. I do not know when Sinan began handling their work, but I trusted that it was a reputable place and that he was a reputable dealer. I had BDC/DEVCO install a very large window, several smaller ones, and a sliding glass door in our home. We had installed windows just like these in other areas of our home before without incident, so did not anticipate any problems. It seemed like a simple, straightforward project. While we were on vacation, the windows went in. When we returned, to our disbelief, they had completely jerri-rigged some strange way of installing the windows and they were horrible! I called Sinan. He came over and gave us some far-fetched reason as to why these windows had to be installed in this manner--differently from all of the others, and why the resolution to the problem would entail removing all of our mouldings, the window sill, and a number of other things that made no sense. Our painter came in, took one look at the windows and couldn't believe it. He offered to reinstall the window. I called Sinan. He said to tell the guy that if he thought he could do it to go ahead. The painter removed the windows and the rigging that Sinan had installed and put the window in. No big deal, no need to do all the things that Sinan was telling us we had to do, and the window looks great. I deducted the amount the painter charged me for the reinstallation from the final amount paid to Sinan. Sinan agreed to the amount. We paid him the full amount less the amount of the reinstallation even though we still have the other smaller windows that he installed that have been put in in the same shoddy way. Today we just received a letter from Sinan threatening us with a Contractor's Lien if we do not give him the balance of the money. My first read of this experience was that the contractor was sadly incompetent. Now I realize that he is also unscrupulous. Beware!!!!!

The workers are very helpful and Home Depot has reasonable prices. They usually have what you want in the store but you can order it online and have it delivered to a store guess where you live. The only problem is that many times it takes longer to check out then it does to find what you want if you already know what it is and where it is. And sometimes it takes time to find an associate because they aren't staffed enough at times.

This company is a rip off we are very unhappy with the quality of carpet they delivered and they don't care we can feel the subfloor thru the carpet and pad .they refuse to do anything about it take you business some where else!!!!! Today is May 23,2018 recently USA Carpet and I Joe Pino have filed a claim with Mohawk Carpets and USA Carpet returned most of my money I feel they handled my claim in a timely fashion. Mohawk Corp. Told me bad information and delivered a faulty carpet and pad.

Rae EcklundRae Ecklund, Trails Area3 Replacing Carpet On Stairs Just wanted to say how very happy I am with a recent replacement of carpeting on my stairs. It looks splendid and feels like little puff balls tickling my bare feet. I purchased from BLODGETT'S here in Lafayette who put in our original wool carpeting 30 yrs ago!!!!! It has held up splendidly ... except for the stairwell. I did price and quality comparison all over Contra Costa County. They were in line with everyone else and the service was much more personal. Mr. Blodgett came out to survey the situation himself. A delightful, caring man. They couldn't have been nicer and the quality of the carpet was excellent. Let's continue to support our vendors here in Lafayette whenever possible. I couldn't be more pleased!

Great store

Great Company, Great Customer Service! Luv It!

This is going to sound like an advertisement but that’s because they did everything right. The store is easy to navigate and I didn’t have to go looking for someone who worked in the flooring department for help or risk talking to someone who normally sells paint. The sales people were helpful but not intrusive and at least on the items we looked at, the prices were very clear, comparable to other places we had shopped, and included the price of installation. They have their own teams of installers, so we weren’t dealing with outside contractors for the installation. Our installers, Arturo and Douglas were on time, friendly, and considerate of my trying to work from home and of my pets. They were in and out, did a great job and left no trace that they or our old carpet had ever been there. I couldn’t have asked for more from my experience with Rafael Floors and would highly recommend them.

I visit the floor store and I met a guy named Chris I walked in and approached him and told him that I needed some carpet for my business and that empire had a special for 599 he told me he would beat that showed me a few things that I like I picked out he came up with a price of 799 I was happy I waited for the measurement guy to come which he was very upset because I told him I was going to give me three minutes to park and he wanted to live right on the spot they measured and told me they would get back to me within 24 hours and that was really three days later I waited for them for 10 whole business days and when the final proposal came they shot me with a price of $2300 And when I walked in the store there was no one there and I was telling the manager on the phone that their employee gave me a price of 799 and the manager said well I was right there calling me a liar and I didn't see no one in the store do not go here if you want to get 😡ripped off our scammed out of your money the floor store is a rip off rip off
