Flooring

Came to the store unsure of what I wanted and was helped immediately with knowledgeable, and thankfully, not pushy salespeople. Worked with them to figure out exactly what kind of flooring I needed and was able to negotiate to stay within my budget. Installation was quick and easy. Thanks!

Jay and his company did an incredible job refinishing our house floors. They're knowledgeable, detail-oriented and deliver top-notch work. I recommend them highly!

We had great service! Very pleased with our experience here.

Outstanding!

I want to thank Max, Romero & his crew at Alpine Carpet in Culver City. They did a fantastic job of installing new floors in my condominium. Several people from all walks of life have come to visit me and the first thing everyone says when they walk into my condo is “Wow!!!” I chose a vinyl flooring product and it looks beautiful. My condo looks brighter, cleaner and less cluttered. Max was very kind in the way he helped me pick out a floor product that would lighten up my place. (He even shared his lunch with me!) Romero’s crew completed the job, which included 6 large rooms, two staircases and a hallway, in 4 days!!! I was thrilled. The crew was a great bunch of guys and every day they arrived on time and ready to go. I found them to be hard-working, competent, professional and respectful. I feel like I’m living in a new home. What a blessing. I highly recommend Alpine Carpet for any of your flooring needs.

good quality wood, Russian white oak, engineered floors . The staff in showroom very helpful.

Experienced amazingly awful customer service. Felt like had to chase company around just to get a simple question answered.

This was the best experience I've had with a contractor of any kind. The floors look great. Jay was very responsive to our concerns. This man is honest and his team will do the job right. Don't pay for the installation of laminate or inferior finish wood floors (lumber liquidators) when quality engineered hardwood floors are available at such a reasonable price. Only place I was able to find UV oil finish. Another contractor wanted to install wood floors around a large piece of furniture. Jay insisted on taking the furniture apart. Jay gave us Prima floors for the price of Fiano, from Monarch Plank, because he knew the Fiano we originally picked was too rustic for our apartment. The difference being the number of knots. He was right. The guys working for Jay were concerned about doing a good job and did their best to keep the new floors clean and avoid scratches as they moved furniture and worked on different sections of the house. I was very impressed with how hard they worked and their attention to detail. They consistently checked in with me to make sure I liked how things were going. Recognizing we were pressed for cash, Jay threw in the baseboard installation free of charge. As a Latino in Los Angeles, I constantly feel as though people are trying to take advantage. Jay makes sure he treats all his customers well.

We were referred to Majic at Fashion Flooring America and he proved his nickname is really well earned. He and his people built us a new fireplace, installed bamboo flooring throughout our first floor, and installed Italian tile backsplashes throughout our new kitchen. At every step of each of the projects, Majic was ready to help with very creative and knowledgeable design ideas and materials selection. His expert installer teams all did terrific jobs leaving us with a "new" home we are thrilled with. Our only regret is that we didn't know Majic even earlier in the project because we would have used him for more than we did.
