HORRIBLE!! Since the other reviews are 7-8 years old, allow me to provide an update. I went to the store for the first time to inquire about having carpet cut and made into a rug. After wandering around for nearly 5 minutes to find someone to talk to, I finally found someone who, with prodding, unenthusiastically acknowledged that he works there. I explained what I wanted. He seemed disinterested and rattled off a list of costs that would be in addition to the cost of the carpet. He seemed even more disinterested. I asked if I could speak with a salesman. He claimed to be the owner. I told him that he seemed disinterested in working with me, he suggested that I leave. Completely ridiculous. I'll find somewhere else to buy my carpet/rug and hopefully this review saves someone else from wasting their time with this place.

Chris from Blake's was to have done a firm up, patch, buff and poly coat on two rooms. After numerous requests to do a better and more professional job to make the patch smooth, it still ended up with many noticeable low and rough spots that he would poly coat then attempt to patch over again. A pro would have done ALL the patching coats first and made sure they were level and smooth before applying ANY poly top coat. The job also included filling in chips in a composite (click board) floor. The material he used to fill the voids (and I'll add, by pressing it in with his thumb, and not smoothing it with a spackle knife) is still "wet" four days later. He essentially used the wrong material. My wife and I noticed the house reeked of marijuana while they were here. You could tell he was in a hurry to finish the job and get paid. After regularly calling me back before he got the job, he never called me back once he left, even after five text and VM requests.... He didn't mind cashing the checks, though. Tread with caution when considering this company.

They are hiring younger people who are not knowledgeable of the store and show little interest in helping. I also ran into one guy who was knowledgeable and very helpful. Five stars to HIM. Its a mixed bag.
