My 8 yr old goalie has never come close to working as hard as she does for Tom, not for me or hockey coaches. She loves going to UHT.

The prices are high and the service is bad. You never find a person to help you. At least it's clean.

FRANCIS HOCKEY

I've been playing in this league for 3 years and nothing but great things to say about it. Can accommodate all levels of Hockey and easy going people. Ron is very approachable and always willing to work with people. Give it a try if you enjoy the physical activity and want to get into some organized sports. You even get a Jersey for the team you play for. Highly recommended.

There's so much going on here. They have a lit, professional football pitch, six tennis courts, baseball/softball, gym, swimming pool, skating, hockey, restaurant. Sort of overwhelming at first few visits. Lots of parking, easy to find, clean, great staff and help.

Scott the owner of the location is very rude. When we called about our sessions being expired without us knowing there was an expirty date he became very hostile, chauvinistic. We were simply asking for the form that indicated that our sessions had a 3 month expiry. He was unable to produce the form and therefore hung up the phone. Very poor customer service and the packages sold are missleading. He refused to allow us to complete the remianing 5 sessions unless we purchased another $500 worth. We were never informed that sessions had a 3 month expiry. Make sure you know what you are buying and when it expires, he is rude and missleading. This is an ongoing business practice for him as 2 of my friends purchased at the same time as me and lost out half of their sessions as well. On a positive note his staff (the trainers are great with the kids, but he certainly should not be managing the Customer Service component).
The Skater's Performance
200 Mulock Dr, Newmarket, Ontario, L3Y 9B6, Canada
I love the Skater's Performance. They're friendly and knowledgeable, and they specialize in something that many people are really passionate about: hockey!
This is the place where local hockey players get their skates sharpened. One tends to hear about this little, out-of-the-way shop through the hockey network. (Word of mouth through satisfied customers seems to be all the promotion this place needs.) I heard that they provide a very consistent yet subtle sharpening that manages to give you both bite and control right after a sharpening. (No need to break skates in after a sharpening.) Sure enough, that's exactly what I found. I've been bringing our skates here ever since.
Skater's Performance also provides a great drop-off service, so customers can drop off skates in the secure after-hours depository, and then pick them up whenever they're able to get back to the store during opening hours. Great concept!
