.The loving Sister's of St. Joseph provide professional as well as compassionate , loving care to their residents , caring for the "whole person", body , mind et spirit . They serve with joy providing tender loving care and understanding . They provide good programs for their guests. Our mother lived in their home for several years et we have the highest regard for these "Angels of Mercy".

Don't put people in this home please! They don't care for the residents properly. It's nothing but neglect from the staff towards the elderly.

My husband enjoyed himself so much he didn't want to come home. It is a very clean home! My husband enjoyed the meal's and treats. It was a wonderful experience.

The staff is composed of mainly phillipino people and they are very bias and only want phillipino people on staff. Ive witnessed the staff abuse residents and witnessed the staff not follow food safety standards. The staff do the vare minimum when cleaning and refuse to do any real cleaning or real work. The houses are run down and dirty. Dont recommend working at quality care if canadian because they will get rid of you after probation period of three months for no real reason especially if you are actually doing your job or going above and beyond what is expected of you because the veteran staff dont want people working hard making them look bad and dont want people of non phillipino race. Six years ago this was a good place for residents to live and a place free of senority and prejudism for employees but today it is not a good place to live or work.

I would like express our families disappointment in Applewood Manor. Our father had residence there from August of 2018 to September of 2019. Within that year my father was allowed unsupervised walks (Which we were told are never allowed there) and ended up being lost 3 times. He was brought home by the police service, a neighbor and a family friend notified us of our father wondering around 8 blocks away from the home. Within the time span from Feb. of 2019 and June of 2019, there were 3 other incidents where residents were lost and the police service had to be called in to find the residents. We were promised that measures would be put in place to prevent people from wondering, but this never happened. There was always an excuse by Raj...usually cost was the main factor for nothing being implemented. We were also told there was a exercise program in place with weekly activities...other then the residents kicking around a basket ball in the living room, there is no exercise program in

My family decided to put my mom in at Warm and Cozy! We are coming up to a year and we really appreciate all the effort and consistent care she receives! This place is truly amazing and has such a great family running it!

Poor management that obviously doesn't treat their employees fairly. The clients are also "scared" to say anything due to managements vindictive attitude toward complaints or concerns. Very toxic atmosphere so we moved to another home. Clean drinking water though...
