My grand parents were put into this retirement home about three years ago. It’s always sad, but my parents were getting to that age where I think taking care of them would be difficult for them as well. I visit form time to time seeing my them in great shape. They were relocated to another family. They really enjoy it there. The staff of the manor is friendly. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect once we put them into a home. It was a really tough decision but I think it’s changed their life in a positive way. I’m glad that my grand parents are healthy and well.

Very old building, no ventilation extremely stuffy due to it. Appears tp be short staffed for no one in sight when you first enter kind of creepy

The company stinks! A lot of office workers leaving..no raises, poor wages, great patients! Glad that I retired..someone is making money..not the nurses!

Best Rehab! PT, OT and speech in are very experienced and capable. Rehab staff has been the same for over 10 years great fun and friendly group of therapist. My mom was able to to return home by herself after 2 weeks.

My grandmother was recently a patient here after she fell and broke her hip. After being there for a month she is now in the hospital not able to talk or eat. We found out that she has been given large doses of hydrocodone daily. She is a kidney patient and her system is not able to process these kinds of drugs well. It got to a point where she was just sleeping all day and not able to open her eyes and eat. I also found out later that she skipped her dialysis treatments a few times because this facility was not able to "find" a sling for her leg. This was detrimental to her health and now we dont know if she will be able to recover. I have never seen one time a nurse that would try and feed her. Every time we came the food would just stand there. If we didn't come every day she would never eat. On top of everything my grandma developed shingles from her immune system crashing. The physical therapy here is a joke. They would feed her a bunch of hydrocodone and then expect her to do any exercises. All of the Kindred facilities should be shut down. I only started finding out other horror stories after this happen. Never trust case workers, do your research. Your loved ones deserve better. I am so sad right now, I probably will never be able to have a normal conversation with my grandma ever again. Mind you she was pretty healthy before this, walking with a walker, and in good spirits and independent. I will be filing a complaint with SF Ombudsman and anyone that had a senior loved one that was mistreated should do the same.
