Nice service, clean and tidy. Specious. Good for small family.

Nice stay. Friendly front desk staff. Nice big room and comfy king size bed. At a very reasonable price. We stayed in a suite and loved the size of it and the two TVs offered. Wifi is good and fast. The bathroom is clean as is the rest of the room. I'll stay here again for sure if I come back in the area.

Good shower. Nice front desk people. Wish there was an elevator.

Set in the old customs house and next to the old station a most comfortable hotel with all the amenities you could need.

Great stop over on the way to and from PEI. 5 minutes from the ferry. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Many updates and improvements. Reasonably priced.

A truly unique historic building. Planters' Barracks is beautiful and quiet, with amazing breakfasts, and a very thoughtful innkeeper! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

Accomodations were basic but clean. Rooms were missing a couple of tiny things that you would expect like a small notepad and pen, but overall were decent. Nice bathroom. Customer service was odd. We spontaneously looked for a room in the evening. We were told that there was availability, but they stopped accepting guests 20 minutes later at 8 pm. So we had to leave supper early to check in as they wouldn't make an exception. When we got there, we were told by the proprietors that if we get locked out of our room, which they warned could happen, not to bother calling them, as they'd be fast asleep and not answer. All in all... not a bad experience, but they definitely need to get some sort of night staff to deal with the above mentioned issues.

Nice service, awful food. Clam chowder was luke warm. Chee's sandwich, small and cheese tasted old and sour, my daughter revused to eat it. We also had a ok ceasars salad. All this for totally overpriced 75 dollars. Nice setting, never would go again.

Friendly owners/staff with a gold mine of knowledge about the surrounding area. Canoe available for use along with a dock, wheelchair accessible cabins. Affordable pricing, amazing views and a 2 minute drive from downtown Parrsboro. The chef is absolutely amazing, free breakfast every morning from 7am till 2 and a lunch menu as well! The best place to stay if you are house hunting like my family and I or if you just want a good place to stay during a roadtrip/vacation. Gorgeous place! I attended a small wedding here and it was the perfect setting for a classy wedding! I enjoyed the amazing water views it had to offer as well. Great place to visit!

Really amazing place. Great rooms, great staff, full of history. A must if you are a train buff, and the surrounding town is very pleasant as well.
