Very clean and comfortable. The lady at the help desk went above and beyond to assist me. highly recommended 😁

Nice, clean rooms, with lots of space. Has most basic amenities, a pool with a slide and a gym. The breakfast is a big bonus.

If you are looking for an inexpensive place to sleep that includes a free breakfast this is a good place. Expect to pay a 2% CBRM Levy and a 2.5% Sustainability Levy per night and a $2.00 Safe warranty regardless if you use it or not.

The Hearthstone Inn is a very lovely place...I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in Sydney ...The rooms are very cozy and comfortable and the staff are wonderful...I am looking forward our next trip to Sydney and another stay at the Hearthstone Inn...Thank you Lisa and all your wonderful staff

Nice place but a little dated

Nice place. West Wing bathroom is a bit small. Thin walls.

Just spent a night. Clean, cozy, comfy bed. So enjoyed visiting with Ms Moreland. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent host.

First off, this is a clean and beautiful bed and breakfast. The breakfast was incredibly delicious. The reason for my low rating was because we were woken up at 6:30 am by the owner and a guest shouting as they socialized in the morning over breakfast. This went on all morning. On vacation (and while jet lagged), sleep is precious. The yelling was rude and made us so tired all day. We had to drive a long way later that night and we were falling asleep. We slept in the car in a McDonalds parking lot later for christsake... and had better sleep. You will most likely not get rest here unless the owner becomes more aware of her guest's sleep and has a quiet rule during sleeping hours.

Friendly accommodating staff.. not fancy but a good place

We've been having supper at the Clansman almost every month for the last few years. It has been reliably good food the entire time. The wait staff are friendly when we eat in as well. The Clansman is definitely a go to spot for us on the Northside.

The price is right location is good and the service is great

Definitely our favorite place to stay in the Truro area and one of our favorite B&B's anywhere. Anne & D'Arcy are fantastic and the property is amazing. Great breakfasts too! We will return. Thanks! Tom&Judy.

Awesome place to stay. Janice was an Exceptional host . Very clean and comfy. Here for Nova Scotia music week and it is situated in a perfect location for walking around to the venue's.

We had take out from Asian Thai recently. The Pork was well prepared - good, clean flavors. The beef and broccoli was also well prepared.Take out service is excellent. They get the food ready for you in a flash, and the service is always, always friendly and helpful. We've also dined in the restaurant, and the service and food also has been excellent. This is one of our 'go to' places for an unplanned dinner out or take out. Prices are very reasonable.

Very nicely renovated place. Small but clean rooms. The guy, who I believe was the owner, was very pleasant to deal with. There only thing I can complain about is our room was in between two routers and had no WIFI available to us. Signal was too weak. Would recommend
