I have stayed at a lot of B&Bs over my life (I'm CEO of a travel company) and can absolutely endorse Baker's Chest as a first rate establishment. Maarten and Nelly are outstanding hosts and make every effort to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. For example, upon discovering that I am of Dutch heritage (like they are), they modified the breakfast menu to include some favorite dutch pancakes. I was delighted! The property is beautiful and extremely well maintained. I loved the fact it was slightly out of town and provided an idyllic country setting. Driving into town for dinner and sightseeing took less than five minutes, so we got the best of both worlds. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was exquisite and we slept very well.

Affordable. You get exactly what you pay for :)

we had a wonderful experience , it was by far the best pool I've seen at a hotel with a really fun slide and hot tub

The location is ok, the room was fine but it was extremely dry in the room. Also there was a lot of noise on our floor (loud talking/ laughing and people running up and down the halls). The pool was very small. The free breakfast was not as good as other Hampton Inns we've stayed at recently. Staff were great.

It was awesome, there are a lot of beautiful flowers and plants. The owner was really kind and considerable to the customers.

A very nice, comfortable and friendly hotel. We arrived late because of arrival by boat and going through customs. When we arrived at the hotel we experienced caring attendants.

not great but best you ll get in this "town". no king beds in ANY room. best youll get is a pull out couch only a double and a reg queen bed if you traveling with kids 1) no pool 2)bring an air mattress 3)the staff were at least friendly, place rather clean, and breakfast ok ( they have a waffle maker) good luck to you if who have to stay in this town for a night... zero going on.... ZERO!

Resonable priced clean rooms. No air conditioning but they have wifi and free contential breakfast.

Stayed the other night on our way into town! BEST little place around ! We came in late and staff were still up and smiling expecting us with welcome arms and happy stories and comfort ! Hotel was clean, warm, spacious.Very friendly staff -offering breakfast. Can't wait to stay again !

Absolutely loved this place. Very simple, not fancy but is clean and homey. Very nice and helpful people. Cooked lobsters on our front deck. Used the fire pit at night. Had a wonderful time.
