Lady was very strange, maybe too much time spent in the winter I guess, I don't know. She seemed to dislike people who weren't locals or something. She followed me around making awkward and rude comments.
Other employee didn't know where things were, either.

Better than Rona but is that saying much? Staff is generally helpful, when you can find someone who can actually help you. Paint desk can be a pain to deal with if the wrong people are on staff. Overall, still a bit of "When computer says no, employee says no" but a few will still try and help. Limited stock in common items, but they do have some niche items lying around. For example - I've seen them run out of 3" deck screws. More than once. Deck screws folks...anyways. It must be nice to own a business with little competition. I try to order online more and more just because of sub par service.

Had a great experience here with my parents in February 2018 on an Aurora package. Wolfgang and Renate are fantastic hosts who treated us like family from the outset. The work really hard to make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone is happy.
The meals were fabulous, hearty and home-style served at a communal table with other guests. This created a real sense of community and comradery among the guests which was lovely. Our travel agent did not inform Renate about a food allergy but she was able to accommodate that at the last minute (thanks Renate)
Our cabin was cozy with a nice bath room and was fitted with everything we needed including a comfy pull away bed for a third sleeper in our cabin.
We had a lovely massage included in our package. It was so good we went back for a second one (this time hot stones and it was superb!)
Special mention to Nico who took us on many of our tours. Despite having only arrived I Whitehorse this season he was interesting and very knowledgeable about the area and it's wildlife. He also spent a lot of time setting up cameras and teaching guests how to take the best photos of the lights that their cameras would allow. He also makes a mean hot chocolate in the teepee!
The lights set up is really well done. A lovely teepee complete with fire pit and hot drinks protects you from elements while you wait for the lights to come out. The night guide watching for the lights and banging on the cabin doors (for those who request it) is a really nice touch as it allows for a decent night's sleep! We preferred to sit up with Nico and Wolfgang but those who wanted sleep didn't miss out!
All in all we had a fabulous time and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Had been having headaches and fatigue for months when it was suggested I have my eyes checked. Had not had my eyes checked in ten years. I was referred to see Dr. Guy Gorrell by a good friend. Dr. Gorrell was professional and very thorough in his assessment of my eyes and overall vision. In the end Dr. Gorrell was able to diagnose that my eyes did in fact need a prescription lens and my headaches and fatigue were likely due to my straining my eyes to see properly. His friendly and helpful staff assisted me in choosing my frames and in a very short period of time my glasses were available. Since having the prescription glasses my headaches and fatigue have stopped and I am very pleased. I highly recommend Dr. Gorrell and his staff at Northern Lights Optometry.

My daughter and I did the Sourdough Rendezvous & Aurora Borealis Package and it was fantastic! Everything was well organized, the guides were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable and we had a wonderful time. We particularly loved the hot springs and we got to see some Northern Lights. A great success! I highly recommend this package.
