When I first started Crossfit two years ago I was 64 and could not even pull up on the rings one time. Kyle was patient and never embarassed me or made me feel weak but I was. I have stayed with him as a personal trainer now for over two years and I now can do as many as 50 rings plus I can deadlift 115 pounds and I had a military press of 55 pounds so it was worth staying with it. I no longer take blood pressure medicine and us that money to offset my training. I am now 66 and possibly one of the oldest members but I love it! It will keep me young!!!

Ronquillo is a very hands on instructor his classes are 1hr 30min. My son boxes but he learned to use his legs now he can kick and do the splits thanks to ronquillo. They also spar and compete in tournaments. I recommend to any parent bring your kids and its only 40$ a month. He teaches your child to be confident in themselves. What are you waiting for go now.... Do it

This is hands down one of the best academies in the area. Not only is Albert immensely good at jiu-jitsu it shows in hose students that his teaching ability is top notch. I would recommend this school to anyone, especially someone who is looking for a competitive team.

Awesome place for your kids to learn about discipline, respect and being physically fit. The instructors are the best and have been a great influence on my son, who has been taking Taekwondo for five years now.

Grand Master Morris is remarkably gifted in his art. An articulate and perspicacious instructor of his own style of self-defense, he taught me how to avoid conflict and, when a last option, how to protect myself against violent attackers. Shizen-Na ("Natural") is an amalgam style. Grand Master (9th Degree Black Belt) Morris is both humble and wise.

Our son only went for four lessons. Our real estate deal took off quicker than expected and unfortunately there isn't a location near our new place. Listen, everyone here is so great. And the two guys that teach the beginner classes are exceptional. I am off the charts picky and critical of others and how they deal with young people and these guys are absolutely fantastic. Obviously with 5-7 year olds someone is going to act up at some point, and these guys handled it with distraction and gentle guidance. And it worked well. We liked to stay and watch to show our support and so we could practice at home, but had I needed to step away I wouldn't have hesitated. I know he would've be safe. Anyone you call or talk to in person is so helpful, informative, and approachable. This is a great place to take your kids.

I love this school. I've studied a few different martial arts in a number of different schools across the country, and this one is incredibly unique. As an "internal martial art", the approach is quite different - Cheng Ming represents one of the most comprehensive schools of Tai Chi Chuan, Hsing-I Chuan, and Ba Gua Zhang available in the US. As a complete soft-style, it is equally effective for critical self defense as well as long-term fitness. People are able to practice this art well into their later years, and yet it is fully capable of stopping an assailant in almost any situation. Master Eric Hung is an amazing instructor, covering the complete teachings of Great-Grandmaster Wang Shu Jin as he passed them down to his successor, Grandmaster Wang Fu Lai (Eric's direct teacher). Eric is the second Master that I've had the privilege of studying under - the first being WTF 8th degree black belt Grandmaster Byung Yong Kim. I've found Eric to be made from equal portions of patience, skill, wisdom and kindness. He has made approaching Kung Fu a pleasure, and the non-competitive, family atmosphere is wonderful for all ages. Many martial arts schools have classes made up primarily of children - and while Cheng Ming has children's classes available, there are many adult classes that are good for all ages and skill levels. Never once have I felt embarrassed at a lack of skill, nor have I ever felt unchallenged during class. Eric has an amazing way of giving each student what they need for where they are. I've often found that a teacher's senior students are an excellent barometer of that teachers core skill and "heart". In SOME places these advanced students look at newcomers with thinly veiled displeasure, as having to work with neophytes takes them away from the more advanced techniques that they would prefer to be working on. Cheng Ming is the EXACT opposite. The senior students are welcoming, caring and giving individuals - many of them accomplished in their own right, and yet they all maintain an approach-ability that puts even the most nervous person at ease. Again, a perfect barometer of the Master they study with. It is worth noting that while the senior students are always willing to help, every class is taught by Master Eric directly, with others assisting as needed. Weeknight sessions are an excellent choice for those students looking for a smaller, more personalized classes. While Master Eric does talk about Chinese philosophy during class and how it applies to what we are studying, his approach is inclusive and ecumenical, with people of all faiths and worldviews feeling equally at home. My family and I initially came to Cheng Ming for the self defense. What we've received is that and so much more. Master Eric's approach to true fitness, both internal and external is second to none and I encourage anyone looking to take a holistic step forward in their lives to give Cheng Ming a try.

Absolutely the most fun I’ve ever had exercising. The culture is ego-free as everyone’s trying to help everyone else improve. The skill level is high, but very welcoming to white belts like me.
