I have been a member of Overall Jiu Jitsu for the last 7 months. In that time, I have lost weight, vastly improved my jiu jitsu skills, and made a great group of friends. Professor Nicollas is a phenomenal teacher and champion competitor. He trains with his students every class, gives each student attention, and cares about student's development. Classes are fun, challenging, and safe for all levels of skill. Simply the best jiu jitsu school I have ever been to.

The Filipino Martial Arts Academy (FMAA) is a unique place to train in the Filipino art of Eskrima. Eskrima is a weapons based battle proven art that has endured the ages. FMAA has a family friendly environment. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make classes fun.

I feel it is necessary for kids to understand the importance of jiu jitsu and being able to defend themselves. You learn respect and confidence as you become part of the Paragon family. I love it here and that's why my whole family trains at Paragon.

What You Need to Know: -The instructors are amazing with children of all ages as well as adults -Tests are hard but fair -Emphasis on real-world application -Wonderful sense of community -Mr. Bujold is a licensed massage therapist who has taken classes in physical therapy and can accomodate and treat injuries A Little Bit More: Agoura Hills World Champion Karate teaches the martial art form; Tang Soo Do. Mr. Bujold is not only a world champion fighter, but an absolutely amazing instructor as well. He is amazing with all of his students, but especially the younger “Lil Ninjas”. In fact, all the instructors are wonderful with little kids as well as are amazing martial artists in their own right. Ms. Niki and Mr. Simon both teach the weapons classes and are incredible with nunchaku and bo respectively. The athletic benefit of the classes transfers over to all sports, and the self discipline encourages excellence academically. The belt tests are hard, but fair. This is because they are designed to prepare students for real-life situations. Mr. Bujold is a licensed massage therapist who has taken classes in physical therapy, and is always willing to accomodate the injuries or physical limitations of his students because he truly cares about his student’s safety. Though Agoura Hills World Champion Karate is a martial arts school, it is much more than that- it is family. And the lifestyle brings together people of all ages in support each other as we grow together.

Terrible owner, super mean to kids, try’s to take advantage of parents unknowingness of karate and makes it take forever to get a black belt. Highly do not recommend this karate spot, there are many better ones around the area.

He knows how to talk to kids (girls). Really great class. He gets their attention.

Amazing supportive and dedicated staff!

Instructors love the sport and it shows. They are kind and happy people who keep classes exciting, interesting and fun. You get to know class mates almost like family. In fact many families go together (parents, children, grandparents). It's a great work out!

Andrew Alexander has an incredible school here. Was passing through coming out from Boston and dropped in. This was my first experience walking into a gym while traveling out of state so I was definitely nervous. You always wonder how friendly a gym will be or if they'll even welcome you to train on the spot at all. Andrew asked for a minimal drop in fee and let me train with his team all day. His ability to teach and communicate moves is outstanding and I would highly recommend checking this gym out to anyone who gets a chance.
