My daughter enjoyed the karate classes for about a year until moving on to try other activities. The instructors were very good and gave students the personal attention required to succeed. I had some trouble canceling my membership but eventually they were able to straighten things out.

Family Karate has been a positive experience for my son over the last 8 years. I would recommend Family Karate to anyone who is looking to give added structure while have loads of fun to their children. Also, I am a member of Family Karate…..great adult program too!

My son used to take karate from another dojo. I never felt as much a part of a family as I do here. I had always wanted to take karate however I prefer to workout during the day because I work from home. Here they offer Mon. Wed mornings at 9 am & Sat at 9:00 am. It is a great workout, very empowering for me as a woman to know how to handle myself if I were ever attacked & the philosophies and values are in line w/mine & as a consultant for MaryKay cosmetics. Treat others as you want to be treated yourself. Everyone at the dojo is very welcoming and it is a positive environment. As you move up in belts there are positive affirmations you will memorize. They are very involved in giving back such as: National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, Willow Domestic Violence Center, Causely just to name a few. In order to earn your black belt you have to pick a charity and collect donations for it too. If you have ever thought about giving Karate a try for yourself, your kids the whole family I highly recommend it.

These guys came to a tournament in Canandaigua. They placed very well in many of the events. Great form. Well behaved kids helped out at the end without even being asked. This school is worth a visit !

Love it here! Have only been training about a month, but everyone is super friendly!

We brought our son to Olympic Karate about a year ago and we haven't been disappointed at all. Master Donovan, Sensei Steve & Sensei Nico have helped teach him about courtesy, respect and discipline and he has a tonne of fun doing it. The classes are organized and well run and the kids progress at an appropriate rate. I recommend Olympic Karate to all parents whose kids have shown an interest in karate
