We had a pipe burst in our basement and we felt like we were unable to clean the mess ourselves despite putting in a pretty good effort. We called WINMAR, they were here within 45 minutes, had everything cleaned within an hour, and left us with a dehumidifier and fans until all the dampness was completely gone. They even helped us identify which pipe burst and why. Great experience 5/5.

Months and months...

I had such a hard time finding a good abatement company, we needed a small amount of vermiculite cleaned up in our basement. I found that each company had a different opinion about the risk level and amount of PPE and monitoring required. We ended up choosing this company because they seemed to take the Abatement Manual the most seriously. They were prompt with the first visit to our house but I had to call a week later because they still hadn't sent an estimate. Their estimate was similar to others (included the $500 fee for air monitoring). In the end they did a good job of cleaning up the vermiculite and we were satisfied. Our only complaints are that the sealant they applied to a hole in our ceiling was really messy. They dropped excess sealing foam on to the floor and some pipes. The other thing that bothered me is that twice when I called their secretary, she said 'I'll pass this on to my boss, if she doesn't call you in an hour can you call back?' I found this unprofessional and frankly a pretty bad way to do business. It's not my job to call you back if you want me to hire you!! But I did call back, so I suppose her method worked just fine ;) Truthfully if I could give 3.5 stars I would. They could use some improvements in the way they manage their clients, but the bottom line is that they did a good job of the job they were hired to do.

Very bad experience

Our house was built in 2000 and the vinyl siding was installed very poorly. Over the last 14 years every time we had a heavy storm, water was getting in behind the siding where it met the roof. The water rotted away until on day it finally expressed itself by seeping into the house. The wood around the window and door were rotten and it was hard to tell for sure where the water was getting in. We had a home inspector, a window and door expert, and two siding contractors look the situation to help figure out the mystery but Restoration Worx was the only one that offered a reasonable answer. Doyle and his crew were all very friendly and did a wonderful job repairing the whole water damaged area. They took the siding off a large area of the house, did a great job fixing the lousy vinyl and flashing job that the builders had done and Tyvek-ed the whole side of the house too. The price was very affordable considering how much work was done. Thanks Restoration Worx!

Fast service, and they are upfront about how long it will take

Got us out of a serious bind during last weeks rain. Got home from work at 10:30 pm to 3" water in basement. Called these guys and they were at my place pumping out the water by 11. Gabriel was great and dealt with my insurance company directly.

Nice place to work!

We dealt with Nick at Calgary Mold Removal and have had absolutely no joy. He took a huge deposit to get started on the job - paying for permits, testing etc, and that was the end of that. Suspect the tests were never completed and the job certainly wasn't. We've reported the company to Service Alberta, Consumer Investigations Unit who found them in the wrong - which just means that we need to take them to small claims court to get back what is left owing (Over $3,000) which I doubt we'll ever see. So disappointed. Do NOT use this company.

Amazing service and great staff. Overall it was a great experience - as much as having a flood sucks! I've had a flood before and this time they made the process seem easier and better than the other company that was hired the first time. I would strongly recommend them.

PUROClean Disaster Restoration did an incredible job in my emergency situation! Recently, I had a water pipe burst in my basement. I had 3 inches of water fill the entire area, causing damage to my wood panelling. Upon noticing it, I immediately called PUROClean and their team replied to my home in less than 20 minutes! Tyler (Project Manager) thoroughly explained the cleanup process to me and was very personal, making me feel at ease after an unfortunate event. He not only explained to me what the cause was regarding my burst, but also explained the type of water loss that occurred. His team quickly moved my belongings in the basement to a safe place, drained the majority of the water, and proceeded by drying the remainder of the basement with numerous industrial fans. Tyler also called a plumber, who fixed the initial cause of the problem the following day. As this was my first time dealing with a housing issue that falls under my insurance, Tyler also explained to me how the claim process works and what I could expect going forward. Through PUROClean's professionalism, speediness and dedication, a situation that was dire to begin with turned into an informative, less stressful learning experience. If I ever have any issues regarding my home again, they will be the first ones I call. I highly recommend them to any homeowner that has to deal with an unfortunate disaster and needs immediate help.
