I got a good rate through this lender. That's the only positive thing so far. It's been 3 months since closing and the list of issues keeps growing. They sent less money than agreed upon in the lending instructions to the lawyer, so I had to pay the difference out of pocket. They claimed it was a tax that cannot be financed. But that amount is still included in my principal so I'm still financing it! Even though I paid that difference to the lawyer out of my pocket! After many emails and calls still no resolution. They say they'll get back to me but don't. We also set it up so my property tax is included in my monthly mortgage payments. Now I'm getting notices from the city that my property tax is overdue. The city is charging statement fees. Capital Street refuses to pay these statement fees. My mortgage payments have been on time and in full, it was their responsibility to give the city their portion. They failed to do that and now I must pay penalties. I could continue but this is already a long review. I will not borrow from Street Capital again.

My lawyer admitted that she had never heard of the level of service I received to get a mortgage approved and funded in 5 business days. Jeff started working on my case when I reached out to him on a Friday night after I realized I couldn't work with my first mortgage broker. Jeff spent his weekend working on my case till Monday that Simon was assigned, and Jeff continued to supervise, and contact different lenders to find one who could fund my mortgage in 5 days.
