Justin was very helpful and took my calls at practically all hours of the day. He was also willing to intercede on my behalf when the company put more guys than necessary on my move, which would have cost me an extra $50. When it turned out I had to cancel my move due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin was gracious and made sure I got my deposit back. There was a clerical error somewhere that resulted in the movers coming to my canceled appointment, but it all turned out alright in the end.

These guys made our move so easy and stress free! They were able to move everything in one trip and took really good care of our things. I would highly recommend SS&D!

From start to finish, the three gentlemen (and I *do* mean gentlemen!) assigned to our move were prompt, polite, respectful, organised, focused, quick and kind. One month after we moved, we started going through our considerable amount of wall art, and realised that the glass of one of our framed water colours was broken. I contacted the company, and they said that it is their policy that all art should be boxed for transport, which we were not advised of before hand. As a measure of good will, however, they issued us a cheque for $100.00 to cover the cost of the glass replacement. Pure class. Highly recommend.

I cannot give high enough praise for this moving company ! We had booked our move with another company (Citywide Movers) and they didn’t show up for our scheduled move. At 430 on a Friday, Forest City Moving was the only company in London that went above and beyond to help us with our move. Joey had already worked another move that day and Malcolm came to help on his day off. They were fast, efficient, and very nice.

Great experience! Mark (sales rep) was very helpful and quick to reply. Price was right. Our move from Kingston to Hamilton went super well - the guys were professional, courteous, but fast workers and very careful with our stuff. Right on time for our load and unload too. Couldn't have asked for anything better, a stress-free move! Highly recommended!

Great movers and don't charge four or two hour minimums ..! Licensed and insured .. Professional movers.. At affordable rates ..

Terrible. First they wouldn't remove a chair in our old house because they said it wouldn't fit. One of us got it out by ourselves, so they obviously could have done it if they tried. Next they wouldn't take a couch downstairs because, again, they said it wouldn't fit. We're pretty sure it would have since the old owners had a couch down there. They banged a piece of furniture into the wall creating a little hole, which they said they would come back to fix. They never did. Lastly they left a box of garbage with water bottles, coffee cups and the sweepings from their truck; which they hid under our bench.
