Movers

Redi and Mamou moved us yesterday. They were sweet, careful and hard working. Our move took 4 hours in the rain and they did not stop for one second to take a break. Thank you guys!

I've personally used this moving company twice in the past 5 years, and my grandmother has used them twice as well. They were EXCELLENT on all four occasions. They were very safe with my house/floors and furniture, and they managed to pull off some incredible feats of ingenuity when it didn't look like a particular piece of furniture would be able to fit through a particular doorway. On our last move, the movers even went out of their way to give us helpful tips, like pointing out that the washer on my washing machine hose was looking worn and suggesting that I get a new washer before reinstalling so as to avoid leaks. I would definitely use them again!

The Meldrum team did a great job from start to finish! They were professional, efficient and went out of their way to make my move as easy as possible. I would highly recommend them for your next move!

Everything seemed to be running smoothly with my move, until the movers arrived at destination and due to space restrictions had to switch to a smaller van. Kenwood made me pay for this on top of the bill I had already settled even though they had not so much as mentioned the size of the truck or the possibility of this happening AT ALL through months of communication. Absolutely irresponsible and disrespectful!!!!! They had the destination address all the while, and knew it was in the core of the city where parking is tight and rather than building that into the initial bill, the driver had to tell me the day of! He himself said that they had done this to his previous customer as well and that I should not pay a cent as I was not made aware at any point of the need to switch trucks. Of course there was nothing to be done but to pay, and the move was delayed by a day while the driver went to the local dispatcher, switched to a small van, and came back. What a headache! Shame on you for not informing your customers!!! On the other hand, I do want to say that our movers were absolutely fantastic people on both ends. It is the management that needs a lesson on morality! Please be sure you ask a million and one questions before settling with this company, and Kenwood, please inform your customers of such costs!!

Horrible person to work besides... big time alcoholic and drug user watch ur shit when he is around

Had the absolute worst moving experience of my life with Bust-A-Move. What should have been the easiest and simplest move turned out to be the most frustrating and expensive (for amount of stuff and distance moved). Because I moved most of my belongings on my own, Bust-A-Move only had to move my furniture (from a 1 BR apt) and a few containers out of storage into my new apartment. Both buildings had elevators and the moving distance was less than 2 km. For those of you who are curious and don’t have time to read the rest of my review, the move took a total of 6.25 hours and cost me more than $2000 ($1873 + tip). When I made moving arrangements with Bust-A-Move, I agreed to a 3-person team. Instead, I was sent a 2-person team (and charged more per mover) because the initially assigned team’s first move of the day was taking longer than expected. While I understand that not all moves go as planned and Bust-A-Move did their best to allow my move to proceed as planned, what happened nex

Multiple points. One of their trucks was speeding through a large Amish populated area. So I thought I'd call to ask them to ask their driver to slow down. After getting ahold of someone through one of the worst automated systems, (it's seriously just a press 1 for "first name of a person", press 2 for etc etc) So I finally pick one name that answers, Bobby, and just let him know his driver is doing around 60 in a 55, on which road and letting him know about about the Amish community. Bobby, "You think he's the only one going that fast?" Well, no, but doesn't mean he should be. Bobby, "So you think 5 over is speeding huh? I'll look into it." *Click* My guess, he probably didn't, so, now they get a bad review for my experience dealing with them. Also number listed here goes to a fax machine...

Being a Realtor, I had high expectations as I wanted to see how my clients felt moving. They were so quick and efficient. The price was exactly what they quoted. The men who moved my belongings were very respectful of my Walls, stairs, floors. I will recommend them to any of my clients. They did a fantastic job!

We got a business move from Panneton from Ottawa to Montreal, and I want to say how happy we are with the move. Furniture was delivered to our 2nd floor office. Even thought they dropped our desk, Mike the owner came to meet with me apologized and gave us compensation. Super happy.

Jackson and Caleb did a great job. They were careful, efficient, and quick. When we move again it would be good to have the same crew.
