Optometrist

In the fall of 2019 I purchased a pair of «Oakley» framed prescribed sunglasses at Stittsville Optometry. Over the past several months, the lenses began to show stress fractures near the arms which progressed into the area of vision. According to another optical firm, these fractures are likely caused by cutting the lenses too small for the frames. I recently brought this to the attention of Stittsville Optometry. The response was that they are outside the two year warranty period and they are unwilling to compensate or replace. I expected more from reputable companies (S-O and Oakley), feeling that some level of goodwill may have been offered for a $700 pair of glasses which less than three years old require replacement. Going forward, I will give my business to Costco optical.

This office provides outstanding services

I purchased frames from another optician but something was off so I went to Main Street Optical to see if there was something wrong with them. Jim was in instant help and explained to me why they weren't quite right, the fit being the primary reason. He showed me some frames he had in stock to show me the difference and even offered to fix the ones I already had if that was all I was looking for. I loved the ones Jim suggested so much (and they were not frames I would have picked myself) and thankfully I had the option to return the ones I had purchased before. So I returned my frames and went back to Jim for eyeglasses and sunglasses and am incredibly happy with the quality of the frames and lenses, and the professionalism, and kindess Jim and Emma exuded, especially to me, and I am incredibly picky and indecisive! Thanks Main Street Optical!

Excellent service. The Optometrist was professional, courteous, and efficient. I was well taken care of and left with a great pair of glasses. I highly recommend Dr. Hale at Richmond Village Eye Care.

I was very happy with the service that was provided to me. The doctor checked my eyes twice on different days just to make sure that my prescription would be correct. The staff particularly May was extremely helpful with my selection of frame and making sure that I was happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend getting your prescription glasses at Rose City Optical.

The office and staff lacked organization and were out of sync. My services were rushed as soon as a demanding customer walked in and I was rushed out the door after paying.
