Exceptional customer service (especially when I was not their customer!) - my glasses were broken and they were kind enough to refer me to one of their competitors to get them repaired. This was a fantastic experience, if you are ever in need of an optician in the Guilderland/Schenectady area, go to Vaughn Vision, where integrity still exists and customer service comes first. As crooked as can be.....I called before I went there to see if they did the DMV eye exam. The girl who answers said yes and that it was $35. When I arrived a different girl greeted me, I told her I was there for the DMV eye exam. She then asked me if I wanted a regular eye exam as well for new glasses. I said no thank you. She then told me the price is $45. I told her I was told it was $35 by the girl who answered the phone. She confirmed with her and sent me over to her. No apology for trying to get an extra $10 because I wasn’t doing a regular eye exam as well. If you go there know your prices before hand. Google and compared with other people. The doctor and the girl who helped me were very nice that’s why they get 3 stars.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, but I was not impressed with the optometrists. I've worn contacts in the past with no issues and my prescription (for both they and eyeglasses) has barely changed in seven years. After a total of five consecutive visits to fit contacts, ordering different ones, etc. and every time an hour out of my day, I was essentially told "that's as good as it's going to get." Found a new practice in Greenfield, two visits- one for an exam and fitting, one to pick up the contacts I ordered, and here I sit now with perfect vision. I'll never be going back.
