Our dog LOVES this place. She starts howling as soon as we get to the farm road, and is thrilled to leave us. She always comes home tired and happy!

Intolerant groomer. Complain about the age of my dog. Many nicks and cuts. My two dogs were scared after. Poor attitude. Unsatisfactory service. Will not come back or refer.

I'm surprised at all the negative comments because I myself have had nothing but excellent service from Pets Wonderland. I purchased my very first and only dog (an adorable pomchi) from them 5 years ago. It was a spur of the moment purchase and I had zero knowledge of caring and owning a pet. However, I found that the staff at the store (even though they did not speak fluent English) were very helpful and kind to me. They provided me with the proper documents, told me what shots I needed to get and when, and also taught me the importance of making sure my puppy did not become hypoglycemic (they sold me this tube of glucose stuff and instructed me to give a little bit to my puppy each night). It's been 5 years now since I purchased from them and my dog is doing well and going strong! Although at about 2 years of age, I had to pay for an expensive $2000 surgery for my poor dog's legs because she loved to jump and hop around so much, that her knee caps ended up displacing. Of course tho, after some research and speaking to the vet, I learnt that this was common in small chihuahuas so I did not put any blame on Pets Wonderland. I think that when you buy a puppy, there will always be that chance that your puppy may have some unknown health problem that will not become evident until later on. Isn't that the same when we give birth to children as well? I don't think that it's possible to predict which puppy is born with a congenital defect unless you are able to spot early signs and symptoms, which is not always the case. I still go back to Pets Wonderland every now and then even after I have moved out of Richmond because they only charge $5 to have your dog's nails trimmed. Each time that I go back, the staff still remembers my dog and her name. It's adorable! PS: they lock the door because when some costumers drop by (like myself), they let their dogs run loose around the store! Has nothing to do with being "shady" or rude :)

Locally owned, many bulk treats for dogs, lots of products mainly for dogs and cats (more for dogs), many of them locally produced. Cat treats could have more variety, but the cat trees and cat beds they have are amazing. They carry top notch products, there are some items we have only seen here, like some transporters and the wool cat beds.

My dog loves coming here- he runs up to the door wagging his tail with excitement! I find the staff to be friendly and accommodating. I like that they have an online booking service because it ensures that there is space for my dog on the days I need him looked after.

Friendly and enthusiastic staff. They all love animals which goes without saying. I use their bathing facilities to give my dog a bath. Worth it to drive from South Vancouver to Dunbar Area. They have everything you need to bathe your dog and it's all included in the price.

When I arrived he had the dogs file up and knew what was done last and ask if I want any changes. Very efficient, kind and good price. I also found them clean and organized, even for booking.

I have been a Simply Natural client for more than seven years (four dogs). For much of that time (and prior to), my dogs have been the 'unadoptables' taken in from the Rescue I volunteered with. Thanks to Caroline and her well-trained, professional staff, all my rescue dogs were brought to optimal health, and bonus -- I experienced a huge reduction in Vet bills! When faced with end-of-life palliative care for two of these dogs, Caroline researched and recommended specific nutritional support and customized diets which gave them both the strength and energy to enjoy every minute of their time left, despite their cancers. For that kindness alone I will be always grateful to Caroline and her staff. The Store stocks only those foods, supplements, treats and dog and cat gear that have met Caroline's stringent quality standards. I have referred many Dog Folks to Simply Natural over the years and without exception, they too have become long-term clients who appreciate the expertise, quality and service they receive.

Went here by accident. But turned out to be a real gem of a place! David actually walked me through the type of food I need to give my dog and took time to explain whats best for his health. He and his staff are really amazing.
