My friend had a flight tonight and to Montreal. He was leaving Buffalo and had to go to Washington Dulles to transfer and go to Montreal. The plane he was taking left Washington Dulles and went to Buffalo before going back to Washington Dulles. The first flight got delayed for almost 2 hours and my friend missed the plane to go at Montreal. He asked to all the staff from United airlines and nobody tried to help him. It's the worst airline company I have ever seen. Doesn't care about their customers. I will never but never go with them and I hope no one will. Very bad experience. Very frustrating. I hope my friend will get a compensation and a hotel room for it.

Jen at westjet customer service says they offer bereavement fares for imminent death, & they classify that as within a few days. I live in bc, my mothers dying of cancer (within months)& i live across the country and only get limited time to visit .. then they cant even discount the fare because shes not dying within a few days.. with policies like that id rather drive and save the $2500 they quoted for a flight for us. Up yours!
