Private Schools

Great place for my two kids. Curriculum starts from day one (even in the infant class room). I go to work confident that my children are well taken care of.

We had to leave St. Helen’s Catholic School due to academic and school policy concerns. The principal has implemented a closed-campus policy which restricts parents access to the school. This has severely limited interaction with the teachers and has created a very cold and uninviting environment. In touring other area private schools we have found this policy to be unique to SHCS and counter to the family environment embraced by other schools. Our academic concerns were validated while touring these other schools as well. We learned that SHCS academic standards were not as high as other area private schools. For example, the Pre-K students at these schools had the ability to read by the time they entered kindergarten, a skill that SHCS only starts to teach once the student enters kindergarten. This is because SHCS only teaches to the Texas minimum academic standards (TEKS). We have found that what you get at St Helen’s Catholic School is a public school education in a Catholic environment.

The mission statement says it all! This has been a great school for my children and a great community for our family. Where "Bible" is not just a class - but truly a foundation, and true heart discipleship takes the place of mere behavior modification. The teachers love the Lord, love their subjects, and (utmost importance to me as a dad) love their students, challenging and encouraging them continually!

Great school for our child. Teacher (Sydney) really cares about our child. She gets/gives a high five to our everyday when we leave. They get our child to eat food/veggies that she won't touch at home. Overall we couldn't ask for a better daycare and are very pleased with our teacher.

Had a great time growing up and going to school here. Went here from kindergarten all the way through 8th grade. The faculty made this place feel like a home away from home. I made friends here that I've now been friends with for over 20 years. I leaned so much here about my faith and about life. Would not change this part of my life for anything else.

We have been a part of the Primrose School of Round Rock at Forest Creek family since our first child was three months old and we could not be happier! The teachers and staff are AMAZING and treat our kids like their own.The curriculum is challenging and the teachers are remarkably supportive. I love watching our kids run into the school each morning because they are so excited to be there! I never thought I would feel this good about where we bring our children everyday.

We have had 4 children through St. Mary's Catholic School and couldn't be more pleased. The school offers fantastic academics, competitive sports, and a Christian environment. The staff and families are an extended part of our family. Our children are taught not just knowledge and academic skills, they are taught how they have a role in the universe to use their God given gifts to make a difference.

If there were more stars I would add them. I’ve raised 7 children and all 7 have been LCS Eagles K-12 then on to college, except the youngest. He is in 11th grade and following his siblings. The best in College Prep curriculum as well as “real world” life principles that your children can depend on forever. Currently with 350 students at the old Forest Park Middle School campus, they are renovating and building an incredible place to educate your children.
