Private Schools

My son have been going here for about 5 months now and he loves it. The teachers are great and most importantly the school is diverse. He was the only black kid his class at Christian Weekly and they treated him terribly bad. Since he moved to Spring and Dale, he wakes up excited to go to school. Highly recommended

hands down the most well-rounded and comprehensive classical education for elementary and middle school students in northern virginia.

The program may actually be great but I couldn’t tell you since they’ve “lost,” on 2 separate occasions, documentation of us signing my daughter up on the waitlist. To add insult to injury, they put us at the bottom of the list each time. We’ve given up and moved on elsewhere.

Best school in the county. I have had my children there for over 10 years.

My son loves this school

We absolutely love the Glen Allen Goddard School! Our oldest began six years ago, completed the private Kindergarten program, and now enjoys the after-school program. The private Kindergarten program was exceptional and made for an extremely easy transition into public school. Our youngest is in the toddler room and simply cannot wait to get to school everyday. The teachers are outstanding caretakers and educators, and the management is superb! I would recommend this school to anyone looking for quality care and education for their young children.

I don't know much about the school but the church on the same property is beautiful inside and very spacious and I love the windows!

Bad School Too be honest My child said they Kept chocking Them they take them out and put them in a Time Out room and they restrain they in hurtful way my child came home with a mark then i took him out

Couldn't be happier with school and staff. We are very happy we moved our son here and next year plan to move our daughter here as well.

This is a great school and I love so much!!

We love Grove! Excellent education, great kids, teachers and administrators. Go Falcons!!!

Send your kids here.

Good pre-schools should help the whole child grow, prepare the child for kindergarten, and provide the structure to prevent the child from hurting his/herself or others. I give RHM a perfect score for all these criteria. They also provided wonderful activities, a very enriching environment, and enough age appropriate structure for kids to enjoy. I will strongly recommended.

My child is loved and nurtured at RWS. Because he is allowed to grow and experience learning in the classroom and outdoors, he loves to learn. Waldorf education implements developmentally based techniques that are only trends or fads in other schools.

My daughter has attended St. Catherine's School since Junior Kindergarten and she is now in 7th grade. The JK program got her off to a wonderful start, building on her love of learning. The friends she made in JK are still some of her closest friends. My husband and I are so impressed with the quality of education she is receiving--she is challenged yet supported and the faculty members have taken time to know her as an individual. I highly recommend checking out St. Catherine's!

The best investment in my daughter's education. One of the very few elementary schools in the West End of Richmond that offer a truly differentiated curriculum tailored for the child needs. It allowed my daughter to excel in most subjects and she is now in the public program for the gifted and talented children and doing great! Highly recommend.

Its aight.
