As a parent of children who have attended this school, I have been disappointed by the decline in leadership within the past few years. It started around the time the new head of school started. There is low morale with staff and students. It is common to witness leadership gossiping about students, families, and even eachother. Because of this, many families who were loyal to Tka have left and the census continues to decline. Real change happens from the top down. It would be wise for the school board to investigate this further and not turn a blind eye. I would also like to add that when negative reviews about Tka are put on Facebook, Tka automatically deletes them. This creates a skewed belief of how some families/students really view Tka if it’s not a positive review. Be fully aware that when you see all of positive Facebook reviews, every negative one was deleted. This is a prime example of not creating an environment of transparency.

Oak Hill school is awesome school

Mount Calvary is a great school. You couldn't ask for better teachers. All our kids love going to Mount Calvary. They get a great education and are taught solid Biblical truth at the same time.

The King's School recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. It stands as one of the premier Christian schools in the greater capital region. The faculty are qualified and caring. Students have a local and global outlook, with international trips every so often and foreign exchange students in-house every year (which does a lot for the language classes... imagine learning Spanish with an accent that can actually be understood in the native country!!) Principle Kellie Girling MA., is a King's graduate, as are several other faculty members. That speaks volumes!
