I used to go to DC and now this is my first year at a new school, honestly I miss everyone there they were like my second family and if I could I would go back but it is to expensive and my mom couldn't afford it anymore. Every time I think about DC or I see my year book I start balling I wish I could go back. DC was pretty advanced and the teachers were all very kind, supportive, and understanding. My favorite teachers were always Mr. Smith (Mr. Smitty) and Mr. Zietze because they were always so much fun and they made me want to learn because they made learning fun but we were still able to actually learn; that is one thing that is hard to find in a teacher but if you do find it, it is wonderful. they always made sure that I was doing alright and that I was having a good day, and whenever I needed somebody to talk to I knew that I could go to one of them and they would listen and not judge me, they would also talk through things with me and help me make the right decisions. I will love you guys forever and always , I miss sooooo much!
Courtyard Private School
205 24th St, Sacramento, California, 95816, United States
So far this school offers exactly what s advertised on the website. Small class Skilled educated teachers. Strong parent presence. My daughter is so happy to have joined this school after 4 years attending another private school close by, where the teachers were lacking teaching experience. The kids are happy friendly and the school principle has many years of experience. field trips and hands on learning. A lot to offer
BASIS Independent Fremont
3300 Kearney St, Fremont, California, 94538, United States
My experience, with Basis as my new school for my daughter, has been very positive. My daughter comes home bursting with new information and new things she wants to learn. She has created a set of very nice friends there, who share similar values as my family. Her love for learning is alive and well and I really have Basis to thank for bringing that back into my daughter's school life. It isn't about memorization and test scores, it is about stimulating children's minds and making them so eager to learn that the test scores are high but very secondary to the purpose of the education. I am glad we made the shift. A few standout things: 1) They are not just a zero tolerance on bullying in words, but in action. They have bully experts as part of their staff. 2) Their teachers teach from just the subject matter in which the teacher loves and is passionate about and has in depth knowledge about. Long gone are the days of asking one single teacher to teach all topics. I love the method of a subject matter expert teaching. Those teachers teach from the heart and soul about what they love. 3) The administration is easy to reach. There is no barrier to reach them. Call and see. It is really that easy. 4) The 2nd report card: The school does an academic report card and a social report card that looks at the student's whole being, not just academically. This helps identify things like stress factors, behavioral norms, and gives the parent(s) an opportunity to see the child's emotional well being too. Every school has things that aren't what you want exactly, Basis has those but they are all so minor like busing schedule that it seems petty to even mention them. I am so glad to be a member of the Basis community.

Soundview School
6515 196th St SW, Lynnwood, Washington, 98036, United States
Our son has been at Soundview now for 4 years - they're the perfect fit for our family. VERY community oriented both within the school in the way the children and their families interact as well as how the school interacts within the community they're located in. The children all receive a very solid academic education at Soundview but above and beyond that they're taught leadership, stewardship, and they're taught to focus on traits that will take them farther in life than even a top notch education will.
The staff are all a well oiled machine, great communicators and work well as a team with the kids. They work together to really know each and every child and what their needs are.
My son is thriving at Soundview and we are thrilled to call this school home.

Southern Highlands Preparatory School
11500 Southern Highlands Pkwy, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89141, United States
This school is excellent, especially compared to public school district choices. Small teacher to student ratio, good curriculum, and an excellent sense of community within the school. Prices are steep and go up every year.
The Prairie School
4050 Lighthouse Dr, Wind Point, Wisconsin, 53402, United States
My family chose to send our children to The Prairie School and have been grateful to see them blossom into amazing young adults and prepared for success in their future.
The teaching staff is beyond compare in their professionalism and ability to know the needs and gifts of each child. The experiences available to children at the school are incredible, including the arts program (especially the glass blowing studio), learning Mandarin, the stellar athletics programs, and opportunities to travel (Wash. DC, Grand Canyon, France, Costa Rica, etc.). We know that our children were given the ultimate opportunity to explore their potential at Prairie.
