I've been very blessed to have my 2 children attend this school. Julia, Theodore, and Barbara are caring, engaging, fun, welcoming, sensitive, loving, intelligent - everything I want for my children. It feels like a second home to me.

In this day-in-age, it is rare to say that a school can honestly make a difference in your kids life - - let alone the life of the parents. Journey will do just that. The small student teacher ratio and the unique approach to learning has made us a very happy family with an even happier second grader (boy). We tried other private, more expensive, schools that seemed to be the "in" schools to go to - - but the approach was very regimented and along the lines of "do it our way or the high way". Journey takes a different approach and they determine whats best for each kid - - something achievable due to the lower student/teacher ratios. Then they teach to the child's ability, not the overall classes ability. I also love the 4 day week which is fantastic for allowing a greater balance of time for non school stuff like sports, doctors appointments or small three day trips whereby you can come home on Monday and not miss any school. I thank my good fortune every day of my son's life for the experience, not just the schooling, he receives at Journey.

We switched our kids here after homeschooling for two years during covid then public Catholic and French immersion schools prior . We love this school . Our kids have so many fun and educational field trips , fun events and camp opportunities. They love going to school now where they didn’t before and my kd kid who used to run away from his previous school started begging to go even when sick . The teachers and admin have been super supportive, hot lunch program is second to none, and academics a significant but well supported challenge . Most important things are that the kids are taught to be respectful and polite and engage in a multicultural education with exposures to many different cultures and world views . I couldn’t recommend this school more .

The teachers and staff at LCS have truly blessed our three sons with loving, intentional education. In a state where the public educational system has been hijacked by humanist interests, there has never been a greater need for our youth to receive faithful education in critical thinking informed by a biblical worldview.

My daughter's first two years at Ashbrook have been the perfect balance of both fun and challenging activities. She is excited to go to school every day to learn and see her favorite teachers and friends. The community at Ashbrook is safe, inviting and small enough to feel connected quickly.

I called and the director woman I spoke to must've thought I was someone else. It was appalling how rude she was, and she even hung up on me. I have never in my life heard such rude phone etiquette. That in itself shows complete unprofessionalism, and therefore I would never send my child here. Be careful.

For a whole year I researched and toured schools in the valley -everything from Montessori's and public schools, to charters and academies, when I finally toured Rancho Solano I knew it was the one. Not only was the staff incredibly knowledgeable (a few Montessori directors could not answer even the simplest questions) but the school focuses on a dynamic world view and has an amazing music program. I didn't want my child to only have the "Western" education that some academies promoted, and I didn't want the purely "academic" curriculum that some charter schools stressed. I wanted my daughter to have a well rounded education that would help prepare her for our global economy. Rancho was the perfect fit. This isn't to say that the school doesn't value academics. My daughter, who is currently in the Pre-K program has already surpassed her cousin who is in Kindergarten in curriculum material. She knows various sight words, letters, and came home recently talking about cubes, spheres, and cylinders! The staff is incredibly welcoming and works above and beyond for each student. My daughter has a speech/language delay and both her teacher and the principal have not only been flexible with my daughter receiving speech therapy, but also have provided resources and guidance. I can't say enough good things about this school. We love Rancho Solano and can't wait for my son to Starr attending as well.
