Good food. Crispy ginger beef best in the city. Strangely though, the breaded chicken (almond chicken, chicken balls, etc) are awful. Weird taste. Even kids won’t eat it. Otherwise good food.

My favorite sushi place in maple ridge. It's super busy here and so the ingredients are always fresh. Staff is very nice.

I've been coming here with my grandmother for years. It has great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. They have the largest selection of milkshakes I've ever seen, and some creative meals like their meatloaf sandwich and mac and cheese burger.

We love this place. We've only been three times, but each time the food has been great. The spaghetti and meatballs are delightful and the portion size is healthy. You need to make a reservation here because of the size. An almost hidden gem of Maple Ridge.

Hmmm where to start? If you are looking for a welcoming, friendly service then The Big Smoke is NOT for you! My boyfriend and I always debate whether it’s worth it to go for the food or not because of their crappy service. The first time, our waitress was condescending towards us. The second time we thought we would give it another try and came with good attitudes and a clear conscience, however, we were disappointed before even being seated. While the hostess told us to wait for 30 minutes we were 15 minutes into waiting when another family came after we had checked in when a cook came out and greeted them and asked the hostess how long til they will be seated. When she said that they were behind us he directed her to find them a table and seat them BEFORE US and were seated within 2 minutes!!! When I asked her why she did seated them first, she said it was because they were THE CO OWNER OF THE RESTAURANT!!! If you are the co owner you of all people should prioritize the needs of the guest before your own. Not sure what kind of unprofessional business you are running here... but we were not satisfied and will NEVER return nor recommend this establishment to anyone we love. The Big Smoke, more like The Big Joke!

I had to try the Green Eggs and Ham. It was amazing. My wife really enjoyed the Lennon French Toast. If you like good fresh healthy food you'll love this place.

Really great food - one of the best pad thai I have had in a long time, and my husband enjoyed the curry. Friendly staff, nice restaurant with reasonable pricing.

Very disappointing service. Tried the location for the first time with my friends and we all left very unhappy. Simple things such as lemon with water as I requested was not addressed. Food took a long time to come and when it did it was cold. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

I've tryed all the Chinese food places in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, this is by far the best food, and service.

Amazing staff, as well as the pho. If you have not been here it is a must try. Very generous portions, for a great place would definitely would come back.

Loved the hot pho restaurant. The pho was very good. There wasn't a ton of seating, so it was quite and cozy. However, my one complaint is the service, the server hardly ever came to our table and sl we had to find her anytime we wanted or needed anything. Other than that, good place.

Seen in movie "treasure hounds" on netflix. Approx 27 minutes into film. Showing cast members walking by a park and down tv's street. The next scene however, is about 18 km away....a 4hr walk...portrayed to be smaller village right next to memorial peace park. The next scene is at Napiers country antiques.

I expected a diner and got a good one. My wife had eggs benny and I a BLT. Perfect diner and very efficient service. Amazing to watch the servers "deftly maneuver" with trays in this tight restaurant. Yum.

I go here about 1-3 times a month, for good reason. I think they have the best ice cream in town. Why do I think that? I think that because the service is fast, their ice cream doesn't melt easily, the blizzards are delicious, and they have plenty of seating. The only reason why I'm not giving this place 5-stars, is because the burgers are where it's lacking, they're more drier than a cracker.
