Swiss Chalet is usually pretty consistent but this one is a little dated. The one at Leslie and York Mills is new with less traffic. The waitress brought my meal and put it on talbe beside us. I saw the kid at the table pick up a fry and put it down and say this is not mine. Then she brought it to my table and put it down and I said no way ...I saw that kid touch the fries. She put it aside then someone else brought it back to kitchen and it looked liked they brought the same plate back out to me. I've been here a few times and my sense is the management here is too indifferent towards clientele.

This place is so good that I stay away in fears of eating more than I should. Their menu is really simple they have many chicken dishes. They all taste absolutely delicious. They always serve pickles with corns as a complimentary appetizer. This branch might have some problem speaking in English but the downtown branch doesn’t.

The service was very poor, yet the food was absolutely delicious.
It took 10-15 min just for a server to come to our table after being seated, and 15 min to get the bill. Considering there are about 10 tables, with 3 being empty, was very displeased with the constant waiting.
However, the food was really amazing. Seemed to be very fresh, lots of flavour. This is fairly pricey but the quality is impeccable.

The Fregata offers great food and drinks, nice ambiance and good service. The owner is very open to all kinds of ideas and recently accommodated organizers, volunteers and supporters of a beautiful charity campaign from Poland collecting money for medical equipment for pediatric wards in Polish hospitals. Fregata opened its doors and let us have a great event with a concert, auction, etc. It's a great place for events but also a good place to come to dance and/or eat.

My husband went yesterday and picked up dinner for the family around 5:45pm. We got 2 salads and a happy meal. Both of our salads had an "Enjoy by 2:47pm" sticker on them. Do I eat day old salad made at home? Yes! But it still bothered me that I ate an almost 12 hour old salad from a restaurant. (The sticker says it was made at 6:47am). I don't know how it was stored or how old everything was when it was made. It makes me question everything!
I woke up to vomit around 11pm. Not sure if it had to do with the salad, but I find it an odd coincidence.
On another note, the drive through staff is really nice and friendly. This is a very busy location, but they make it worth the wait.
