The staff were very helpful when buying my first set of skis and boots and when I damaged one of my skis they went out of their way to help me get it taken care of. Can't recommend this store enough!

I purchased new skis, boots, bindings and poles from Jake at the Red Door Ski Shop sometime before Christmas 2017. I was extremely pleased with my past experiences in purchasing there, and thought of nowhere else to give my business. Skis are expensive and it is nice dealing with people who understand the product they are selling and can set you up with what you are looking for. After a few times on the slopes, I began to experience issues with fit of the new boot. I called Red Door and was asked to bring in my equipment for inspection and to evaluate fit once again. Jake welcomed me at the door, and took a true interest in my concerns. He evaluated the boots, looked at my feet, and after talking for a few minutes about my concerns, made a determination that another boot size would be best for me. Jake said there is a difference between how a boot is supposed to fit and how it actually does fit. I did not expect to walk out with new boots, but was so grateful to do so at no cost to me. Jake resized the bindings and tuned up my skis as well. This is great customer service! I enjoyed a great day of skiing yesterday, in a comfortable boot that worked well for my feet. I would highly recommend Jake at the Red Door Ski Shop for all of your skiing needs. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so into the future.

We have visited Hardwood on many occasions and it's always been a great time! There is lots to do year-round and their staff is absolutely amazing. The grounds are maintained and kept nicely, definitely worth the trip.

Love the bike trails and also attending all the various demo days hosted at Hardwood.

Nice and helpful staff

Great beginner hill! Lineups for the lift move fast, price for rentals + ticket was pretty good (about $120). Lots of parking available. It's not a massive hill but I don't have much else to compare in Ontario. Takes about 2 minutes to get down the hill at a comfortable speed. Would recommend for those who are beginners and just looking for an easy-going ski/board. My only complaint is that the chairlifts do not have a little bar to rest your skiis or snowboard on, which can be a little uncomfortable.

In May 2016, Wild Rock and Shimano teamed up to provide three top quality bicycles for children who had arrived as refugees from Syria. They also donated helmets and locks. They fitted and serviced the bicycles free too. Imagine the joy they felt after all they had been through, when they were able to choose such gorgeous bikes. Recently, one of the bikes needed an adjustment because the child had grown. They did this free, along with a few repairs and even put on a new seat. This kind of generosity and community support is what makes Peterborough such a great place. We are lucky to have Wild Rock and Shimano doing so much for those who live here. Walked in unannounced with 3 adults and 3 kids and were helped immediately, amazing service, high quality equipment, very friendly staff. Frank was amazing and went over and above more than once! Highly recommended!!

Wonderful resort! There are many different activities like hiking, golf, gondola ride and zip lining. I rode the mountain coaster which takes a single rider who is in control of the coaster speed through a beautiful mountain terrain. It was very refreshing! Also did zip lining here for the first time and absolutely loved it! They also have restaurants and souvenir shops. And a hotel with a beautiful lake view where you can stay and enjoy the activities. Would highly recommend for people who like adventure!

Great selection of gear at this shop next to the hill. Jessie and Hayley hooked me up with some dope new snowboard boots and were super fun and knowledgeable. Definitely hit up this place for all of your snow sport needs.
