Solar Stage is an excellent place for kids... the program encourages them to use their imagination (there are few, if any, props), engage with the actors, and overcome any stage fright (during the audience engagement component). There is a very ‘community theatre’ feel with enthusiastic actors, a location in Wychwood Barns, and a bare stage. I have been attending their performances for years and have NEVER been disappointed. Their plays cover stories from Goldilocks and the Three Bears to The Three Little Pigs to a Robert Munsch special... the stories are always kid friendly and are often stories the kids know well (so they can easily follow along)! Wychwood Barns itself is beautiful, bright, and airy - Solar Stage has a medium-sized space within. There is access via transit and vehicle. Solar Stage is a great introduction to the theatre - will definitely return to see upcoming shows!

Cutting edge live indie theatre in a great intimate venue.

This is an old school animation studio. This is how they used to make it. Classical animation using conventional techniques and equipment before computers. Very labour intensive. A lady runs this operation and you must admire her efforts for keeping the craft alive. Entire operation is based on donations. Please lend her your support.

Really beautiful historic theatre, 1914 ?!

Amazing work. I have worked in the technology business for 15yrs and never have seen customer focused service like this team. Can't recommend enough.

Very well preserved theatre. Only one screen and lots of room. They even sell craft beer here and at a reasonable price.

Have not had a bad meal or experience yet. Have been to 4 different shows and the never fail to entertain. Will definitely be back and strongly recommend you check them out!!

Fabulous 25' tall rehearsal space with 21' x 25' sprung floor, sound, separate eating / meeting area. Good rates for performance groups.

It was ok. The picture quality was good. The theatre was chilly, we had to keep our coats on. The seats were slightly uncomfortable with no cup holders. They only accept cash, no cards. I like that it's an older theatre with a lot of history but I won't be returning.

Incredible off-off Broadway style theatre. Extremely reasonable ticket prices, and every performance is fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend.
