Nice short trail with signs explaining the history of the railroad in the area and the engineering challenges faced.

Peaceful. Not very crowded. Ate packed lunch here while looking at the river

Got the ultimate explorer package. One of the most incredible experiences and definitely worth seeing. The tour starts at the chalet where you park your cars. When you go inside the chalet, you get your tickets checked and proceed to the buses. The buses are large and spacious. They drive about eight minutes to another stop as to get to the glacier, you have to get into the ice explorer bus. Our guide Emma was Amazing. She was funny, knowledgable and interactive. She drove the ice explorer to the glacier on the mountain while telling us facts about the glacier and pointing out cool view points. The glacier is so beautiful. You have about twenty minutes to look around and take pictures. I think twenty minutes was a bit rushed and thirty minutes would have been perfect. There is a certain area that you have to stay within because some areas of ice are not that thick. There is even glacier water that you can drink. The water is so fresh and pure. It was not that cold, but we were told it could get cold as the winds come and go. It is suspected that this glacier will not be here in the next 50 to 100 years. Beautiful site to see and experience. Some the pics I posted do not do the glacier justice. Must see the real thing. Recommend it to all that are going to Alberta.

Beautiful scenery and lighthouse. There’s a FREE binocular stand thing that they have at tourist locations where it’s usually like 50 cents a minute but this one is good quality and free. Easy access but not a lot of parking which is fine unless it’s a holiday and there tons of people but that’s the case in most tourist locations. There’s also a red lawn chair that’s great for photo opportunities and the scenery is wonderful. There’s pathways and hikes around the lighthouse with wildlife all around. Saw a garter snake and a fairly large hawk near the lighthouse. Bathrooms near the lighthouse are clean and are stocked with hand sanitizer which isn’t usually the case in most places. Would definitely recommend visiting this park / lighthouse.

BC Ferries Terminal on Mayne Island It’s what you’d expect from a ferry terminal. The ferry workers tend to be a bit more relaxed than many, probably due to their island living. The lineup parking is quite steep, so make sure your parking brake is firmly set. If you arrive early, (and you should always arrive early for the ferry), take a break on the beautiful beach to the right of the parking area. It’s only accessible from inside the terminal, so you don’t have to keep your ticket handy. For inclement weather, there is also a covered walkway, a heated waiting room, and flush toilets. On weekends there is a small food stand with great options.

Fresh has a wonderful assortment of coast made items. I have always found just the right thing and it's my number 1 place to go to shop for gifts.

Cute and scenic place to come for a quick stop on ur way to ur destination. Has park picnic tables and a nice beach to unwind and to dip your feet in.

Sidney Town Hall the is the site for residents to pay annual property taxes and deal with local related issues.

This place was fantastic. The staff and volunteers were all friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. The aquariums and displays were beautiful, educational and as a family, we all loved the interactive elements - story time circle, puzzles, search and find, touch pool and more. I highly recommend visiting this little treasure.

A great place to learn how to skydive or do a tandem. The amazing staff at Okanagan Skydive has a passion for fun and adventure that is out matched only by thier dedication to safety. And a view that can NOT be beat!

This man is a wizard on a sled and a hell of a guide. Had 2 trips with him and it exceeded all of my expectations.

Never in your life will you enjoy Gin more than this. I could not say enough about it, you must simply try it for yourself.
