Trustee in Bankruptcy

I can't say enough good things about Johanna, not only does she take the time and effort to make sure you don't feel overwhelmed but she'll fight tooth and nail for you and all your rights. I highly recommend her to anyone who is overwhelmed in debt.

Licenced Trustee promised I would be able to apply for OSAP to upgrade work qualifications during the proposal. Two years into the Consumer Proposal I was in a college program and needed access to OSAP. I was told to contact my trustee. He ducked my calls for two weeks. When he finally spoke to me he said he had no intention of helping me with the required support he had promised. He told me I had 2 options: keep making my payments on time or don't; and that my creditors would come after me and sue me. This was a complete reversal from his assurances prior to my signing the consumer proposal. This callous dishonesty in practice kept me from accessing even an emergency loan from the college. I was unable to pay my second semester tuition. This trustee was meant to help me, instead he torpedoed my life with his lack of integrity. I was also required to travel to Belleville a couple of times as Kingston is a satellite office. If it happened to me, it could happen to you. I'm sure there are honest trustees out there, all I know for sure is that there is a dirty one in this bunch.

Horrible service from staff but owner is excellent.
